Details

Firmly press the mold edges together before filling and secure with clamps for best results, then slowly pour soap into the mold according to your recipe. Allow the soap to fully harden before opening the mold and carefully removing the column; trim edges as needed, then slice into bars or embed into a loaf. Care: Hand wash the mold in warm, sudsy water and allow to dry completely before reuse.

"After I connected the sides together, one of the other two sides bowed significantly without my having put soap in it. I tried rigging something to support it, but it pushed out so much, my support wouldn't stay in place. This is unacceptable. I cannot make soap to sell with this mold. May I return it for a refund? "I bought two of these to make triangle canes to put in my CP soap. They worked beautifully, exactly the shape and size I wanted for my bars. I would suggest buying at least two based on your project and the length of your mold. Each mold holds about 16g of M&P."

"Fantastic Mold! This Is a Very interesting mold. Because you have to pour the soap IN the mold not seeing what pattern is being created verses a flat mold where you can see the pattern or create a pattern. I like this mold cause ever bar of soap is completely different from the last. Sometime it makes cool shapes people notice."

Easy to Use, not Square

"The mold did not leak and was easy to unmold. It did bow our on the sides significantly so that the bars were not square. It made it difficult to package them as they wouldn't fit in soap bar shrink wrap for square bars. If you are not particular about having square bars, it is a great mold."

Q&A

Is it possible to put a CP embed made from the smaller column molds into one of these larger column molds?Would it work to do any of this with HP soap? Thanks :): It is possible to place a CP embed into this larger column mold. There are people who make HP embeds. You might want to do a little research on this if wanting to go this route.
Do these molds stand up on their own without the sides bowing or do they need to be supported?: The larger shapes (Round, Oval and Rectangle) may need to be supported to prevent bowing when filling all at once. If you are filling them in layers they do not need any support.
What are the dimensions, please?: The interior dimensions of this mold are 2-1/2" wide, 3-1/2" tall and 8" deep.
