A Customer favorite!

"Last fall & winter was my 1st time using this for my cold process goats milk soap & lotion for the Christmas line up. So many folks said it's their favorite so I definitely had to order more for this winter! It does turn a darker brown color but that doesn't seem to bother my customers."

I call it Redwood Romance. . . .

"My goodness, what a beautiful scent! I have all genders going gaga for this intoxicating and romantic scent! It even works well with my own body chemistry, which is really rare! The deep amber and sandalwood in this isn't overpowering, but relaxed, and the vanilla is smooth, and delicate. The whole fragrance just swirls in like mist and takes you under, it's so great! I frosted my bars with a lemon herb and honey soap frosting, so that brought in a subtle brightness as well. The fragrance did move a little, but if you keep your temps around 90-95'F you should be able to get a nice 3 color swirl like I did!"

Very Warm & Masculin

"I don't know what anyone else is talking but this is awesome. Worked perfect in CP, was Great in Lotion! I will be adding a Shampoo bar of it. It's very warm, and will change in different applications. I put some on my wrist, and it changes, the warmth will lighten and the cedarwood comes through. I put it on my clothing (I love men's FO's lol) and it stays true to what it smells like out of the bottle. I LOVE IT. Would be great in my men's line. Turns a nice warm tan."

Wouldn't sell

"I thought this smelled ok, but it wouldn't sell. I had to clearance these to get them to sell! Great scent in theory, but wasn't a hit!"

Brooke (3/5)

not too great in CP

"I really love this scent and wanted it to work for my soap. It just didn't. It did accelerate trace a bit and when I went to unmold it was sweating all the fo out. :( Will use it on my sugar scubs"

Nice, Very Nice

"If you can imagine half Redwood and half Vanilla? There it is. . . . . . . . really nice FO"

Q&A

I'm not understanding your explanation for the soap batter to separate. Typically a batter will over-heat and then separate not just separate without reason. Did this Redwood Vanilla fragrance cause the CP soap to over-heat? I'm trying to figure out if this is just not a good fragrance for CP soap at all.
What we mean by this is that the fragrance oil separated from the soap after it was poured into the mold. There were beads of oil on top of the soap and also the small amount of leftover soap in the mixing bowl had become an oily mess. We would not recommend this for CP soap.
Do you know if it would separate in HP.
We would think it would also separate in HP but this was only tested in CP.
what do you mean by the seperation is severe? Can you please clarify that for me, thanks.
That means the fragrance oil did not mix with the soap batter and separated out. The oil sat on top of the soap after 24 hours.
