Cynthia (5/5)

Rose Hip Powder

"I love using natural products to color my soap. This has the bonus of skin loving benefits so I will be using it a lot this fall. The color is great for the season. It will clump if you add it directly to the soap, so it's a good idea to add a little glycerin or oil to it first."

Chelsie (5/5)

Multi use

"I purchaced for a natural soap color, but decided to add it to cleasing grains. It has a soft scrub and I like the idea of vitamin C benefits. Now, I'll have to add someground rose petals to match!"

Q&A

This, along with 16 other botanical powders are listed under soap colorants yet all but this one states that they are not cold process stable nor are they to be used for melt and pour. I don't quite understand. The reviews that people gave after using them in CP soaps seem to align with this. Why are these listed as soap colorants?

Can this be infused in oil to make rosehip seed oil?
Yes, you can. There are various tutorials online that can help you with this.
Can this be added to Melt & Pour soap?
Yes it can be! The images found on the product page will show you the color it will produce in both clear and white soap.
Can this be used as a colour for lip balm? If not, which product would you recommend for lip balms/lip tints? Thanks!
We have not tested this product in a lip balm, but we have used other natural colorants. We would recommend to test this product in a small batch to make sure the results are what you want. ***Please keep in mind that this does have a slight odor. You may have to use a fragrance that will compliment the Rose Hip Powder.
Can i use this i a facical clay mask and if so can you possibly suggest a recipe?
We have not tested Rose Hip Powder as a facial mask. We suggest you research the item or search for a recipe on the internet.
