Color is coral on the "Rose Kaolin Clay" I recvd

"I don't know if I got the wrong Clay, but I've used Rose clay for years - it's always pink with darker flecks of pink. I ordered this product in January '26. When it arrived, it was very coral. Might be the brazilian rose which appears more peachy, but that's not what I ordered. If this is the current "Rose Clay" it's NOT rose pink."

This clay is very soft

"This clay is very soft and adds such a beautiful hue to my soap bars. I learned the first time I used the clay in my soap to blend with a stick blender rather than mix by hand. I got clumps mixing by hand. I'm learning and I hope my mistake helps someone else. But it is a great product!"

Kaolin Clay - Rose

"I had never used any clay before I purchased the rose (and white) kaolin clay. I was very pleased with the color the rose added to my soap. When I first poured the batter it was a dark rose color, the next morning it had lightened to a pale pink color, by the time I returned home that evening the soap was back to the original dark rose color, which is what I wanted."

How do you use this in a melt and pour? And how much should be add to 1lb m&psoap base ?: You can start with 1 tsp of clay per pound and 1 tsp of glycerin to get a feel for the consistency. Adjust from there.
I cant tell by the conflicting information if the rose color is naturally in the Kaolin clay or it is added afterward. The Ingredients only list clay, but the answers in the questions say its added. If it is naturally occurring, where is it mined? Thanks!: The natural rose color is derived from the high iron oxide content
Can a little bit be used to add color to body wash?: Clay will sink to the bottom unless the suspension base is used.
