Reviews

Really disappointed.

"I ordered based on all the good reviews, and love the scent of satsuma, but unfortunately I think it has turned and I don't know what to do. It actually smells like mildew. I was hoping it was maybe just the rim of the bottle, or the cap-but our fragrances I made with it now have the mildew smell too. :( and I bought 16 oz. I'd recommend the blood orange."

Satuma Fragrance Oil 612

"I love this fragrance oil. It is one of my favorites! It has a wonderful light scent with the right combination of citrus and floral. The fragrance has lasting staying power. I actually have some bars of soap that are a couple of years old, and the fragrance hasn't completely faded away yet. It worked great in the recipe I used it without any problems at all. The batter had a yellow tint from the FO. I did add titanium dioxide, green, and orange mica. It took the color well with no morphing."

very pretty fragrance

"I love this for both soaps and perfume. It is good for blending with essential oil, also, to make it go farther. It is sweet which is something many don't have, and is great when you don't want to use vanilla."

One of my favorite FO

"Satsuma* Fragrance Oil 612 was an experiment purchase since I have issues with most of Orange FOs, and this one didn't disappoint. It is sweet and zesty, light and strong at the same time! Perfect for lotions and butters!"

Uplifting and refreshing.

"Nice variation of the scent of oranges. Super strong so you don’t need much and the more I use it, the more I like it."

?????????? Compact, Sleek, and Sturdy

"These 2 oz black bullet plastic bottles are excellent quality. The slim bullet shape looks clean and professional, and the plastic is sturdy despite the smaller size. Threads are smooth and work perfectly with 20/410 caps. Easy to fill, label, and handle, and they hold up well during storage and shipping. Great for serums, oils, and travel-size or sample products. Very happy with these — will definitely reorder."

Q&A

What would the usage rate be for a sugar/salt scrub?
Hello - if you're using this on tour face you would review Category 3 on the IFRA guidelines. The usage percentage is 3.1% If it is body and not face, view Category 9. Usage percentage is 14.6%.
What would be the usage rate in foaming hand soap?
The IFRA maximum is 14.60%, but we find that the optimal amount for this application is 3.00%.
What could I mix this with to make it smell less like candy?
I recommend looking through our customer reviews to find good scents to mix this oil with. We have a past review that suggested mixing with Farmhouse Cider Fragrance Oil 262 and another mixing with Lavender Fragrance Oil 91.
Can I use this to make soy candle?
Yes, you can. Please check your wax manufacturer to know how much fragrance to safely add to your particular wax.
Can I use this product to make a perfumed body spray using Crafters Choice™ Body Splash? If so, how much would I add to make an 8 oz bottle with a strong scent please?
Thanks so much! What a great help :)
