This Digital Display Scale is one of the best on the market for soap, lotion and other cosmetic making! Measures in Grams, Lbs:Oz, Pounds, Ounces, Kilograms. Large easy-to-read digital face.

This scale includes a removable clear LCD cover that protects the buttons and LCD from damage (great for messy recipes, soapmaking or candlemaking). New 2007 models also come with 3 secondary soft clear faceplate covers (in case you have chemicals on your fingers when you touch the keypad). With a large 7 kg (15.4lb) capacity and precise 1 gram (0.1oz) readings this scale is an incredible value and is available at most scale retailers or through our online merchants.

This product is not on the CA Prop 65 list of toxic chemicals.

This product conforms to the reporting requirements of California Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986). We are conforming to the regulation by reporting the existence, or lack thereof, of ingredients deemed reportable by the above mentioned regulations via a Safety Data Sheet (SDS), in Section 15 "Regulatory Information." Directions:

Set scale to desired unit using the mode button. Place a bowl or container on the scale. Wait until the container is measured and press TARE to zero out the scale. Add ingredients to container to measure up to 7000 g, 15.450 lb., 246.90 oz. or 7.000 kg.

COMMENTS: this is one of the best purchases i have made since i started buying from WSP. i use this scale for everything and it works great. i love that it has a plastic cover over the buttons so even if there are spills it won't ruin the scale. it has an adapter but can also run for quite a while on just 2 AA batteries. turns off automatically so i never waste battery power. COMMENTS: I just got this scale a few weeks ago. I also use a much cheaper small scale, that I now use just for lye when making soap, as the lye particles have gotten on it and removed the paint. I use this one for everything else. It's very accurate, and it has a great splash guard that keeps everything off the digital panel. It also has a dc plug, so no pesky batteries needed. The top is easy to wipe and stays clean and nice looking. I love that if you are weighing something in grams, you can instantly change it to ounces and back without re-weighing the item. Great scale, highly recommend, wish I had bought a long time ago..

COMMENTS: I've been through 5-6 scales in the last 5 years and this one is by far the best! I love the large platform & the fact it measures from the smallest amount needed to the largest! The protective cover is a plus!

COMMENTS: I bought this scale for my soap making hobby...I had another one but it wouldn't do all this one does...This measures in smaller fragments then my other scale would do...You can either set it to time out or not to time out...Nice blue backlight also!!! Even comes with the AC adapter!!! Most others you have to buy that seperate....

COMMENTS: This scale is a vast improvement over my previous scale. It has a brighter display, the WONDERFUL display guard to protect against spills .. and it patiently waits for me if I take a break in pouring. (My previous scale used to time out when that happened, and it was ANNOYING!) This scale has a great capacity, too, and can measure even small amounts of lye with great accuracy. I just love it! :->
