Pumpkin Pool Party Soap Recipe

Prepare your work area by gathering the Basic Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base, Summerween Fragrance Oil, yellow mica, pink mica, orange mica, green mica, the Jack-O’-Lantern Mold, four funnel pitchers, pipettes, rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, a digital scale, and stirring utensils.

Weigh 57.6 ounces of Basic Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base and cut it into small, evenly sized cubes to help it melt consistently.

Divide the soap base into four equal portions, using approximately 14.4 ounces for each color group.

Place the first portion into a microwave-safe container and heat in short intervals, stirring between each interval, until fully melted. Avoid overheating or boiling the soap base.

Add 0.25 ounce of Summerween Fragrance Oil to the melted soap base and stir until completely incorporated.

Add approximately 1 gram of the desired mica color and stir until evenly dispersed.

Slowly pour the prepared base color into the six mold cavities until full, then lightly spray with rubbing alcohol to remove air bubbles. Once set up, remove from the mold. You will need to save about 1 oz of the colored soap for a later step.

Remelt the remaining soap base. Use a pipette to fill the eyes, nose, and mouth details of
six mold cavities with a contrasting soap color and allow the details to
harden.

Lightly spray the facial details with rubbing alcohol.

Repeat the melting, fragrancing, coloring, pouring, and detail filling processes until you have created six yellow, six pink, six orange, and six green jack-o’-lantern soaps.
