Unusable

"I ordered this natural Shea butter, six months ago and finally opened it to use them today for a restock of my products and it smells awful and rancid. I use natural Shea butter in many of my unscented products and this has never been a problem. I have even ordered from wholesale supplies plus before and it did not smell like this. All of my raw oils and butters are kept in a climate controlled studio so the Shea butter should’ve lasted longer than six months."

funky smell

"This somehow smells differently than the organic unrefined Shea i have bought in smaller amounts-- beware of how it might interact with your fragrances and essential oils. It could either be a really lovely base note, or something that clashes horribly with your florals. Make sure you account for the natural Shea odor!!"

This is the most natural

"This is the most natural Shea Butter on the market! I love it in my cold process soap, and learned to incorporate it with limited acceleration in my batch! (It’s a little tricky at first) I think my batches call for about 10% Shea Butter and it gives it a nice finish with moisturizing properties!"

"This shea butter doesn't smell quite as smoky as some unrefined ones I've used, I think the natural nutty scent is quite nice (though it will overpower your fragrance if it's used in high %) Lovely thick butter that sticks around on the skin."
