Use this 6 x 6 Shrink Wrap Bag on your handmade products to provide a profession look and protect against dirt and debris.

Measures 6" x 6"

Flat bag that is easy to heat seal. Shrinks up to 40% of original size.

Directions:
Place item into the proper size shrink bag. Fold over the open end of the bag and tape in place. Use a heat gun or a hair dryer to shrink the bag.

"For my CP soap I would have to use the 6 x 6 size. I have not been able to find Shrink Wrap bands 6 x 6 which would be perfect. If I use a Shrink Wrap bag instead of a band, is it advisable to cut off the bottom seal from the bag to allow the CP soap to breath or punch a couple of holes in the bag? My soap had cured 1 month or more."

Staff Answer The 6x11 is a bit too tall for our 8oz jars. I would recommend the 6x6 shrink wrap bag. These will provide a better fit and should shrink around the jars without any excess.

Can you offer some suggestions regarding the leakage issue? I changed the formulation of my scrubs but there is still seepage from the covers and it not only makes a mess in transport, but it also looks unprofessional. I was thinking of using the shrink wrap bags over the jar, then screwing the cover down over the shrink wrap. Does this seem like a reasonable way to package?

"When your done shrink wrapping your soap can you cut off the part you taped down? Or will that make a hole in the package? I watched the video but she left the taped parts alone after she finished shrink wrapping them, i don't really want that on my soaps if i decide the shrink wrap them. So do you leave them or can you get rid of them for a cleaner look?"

Staff Answer If you remove the taped parts after shrinking the bag you will end up with a hole in your wrapping that will allow air to reach your finished product. If you would like to cover up the tape, we suggest placing your label over it. Or we have stickers that are embossed with the word 'Handcrafted'. These can be used as well to cover the tape. I just slide my bar into the package and seal with the heat gun, if you point the heat gun at the ends where it looks "messy" it usually melts nicely. I never have had to trim any excess wrapper off. (if you have excess maybe consider getting smaller sized bags.) Hope this helps!

Instead of cutting it, you could try heat sealing it. Many people simply use an old iron and slide it across. That will seal the plastic so that when it's shrinked, there's no excess left over or needing to be taped.

COMMENTS: I have been pleasantly surprised by how well these bags work. I was skeptical that my hair dryer would work but it does, very well. Securing the closure with a label or small piece of tape is all you need to have a very professional looking package. I will definitely be buying these again.

"Meant to buy the polyolefin "

COMMENTS: I mistakenly ordered 1000 these and meant to order the polyolefin bags. I should've paid more attention to the fact that WSS offers two different materials. These shrink quickly; however there are two important things I dislike. They leave the edging and it's unsightly and you can't smell your product through them and I'm now stuck with 1000 of them through my own fault. I LOVE the polyolefin because they shrink a lot more and don't leave as much edge and you can smell through them. #Regrets lol

COMMENTS: I love these bags for protecting my soaps. My customers cannot smell the soaps through them, so I took an extra step and punched an extra hole through them for the smelling area. It works great! Not sure if they have changed the bags since other reviews, as a lot of people stated they can smell through them. No one can with mine.

"A must-have for high-top soaps! "

COMMENTS: These shrink bags have become a lifesaver for packaging my 3.5" wide × 1" thick pipe-topped/high-top CP soaps! Before purchasing these bags, I was clueless as to how to package these types of bars in a manner that looked professional, while still keeping the tops of my bars (with embeds & such) protected & secure. These bags were the answer to that dilemma! My high-top bars fit with room to spare, and using my impulse sealer to customize the size, I'm able to get the perfect fit! Even if you don't own an impulse sealer, a piece of tape to secure the open end will work too! They shink down perfectly & effortlessly with a heat gun, and with a little practice, I don't have any issues with accidently popping a hole in the bag... They're durable & offer the professional look I want, with the protection my soaps need! They shrink down wonderfully to form a secure, tight seal, even on the most oddly shaped embeds and/or areas of my high-top bars! I won't use anything else from now on... "So much easier"

COMMENTS: I used to cut shrink wrap into squares for wrapping my lotion bars. These bags have saved me so much time! Well worth the money. I put the bar in one corner, fold it closed and secure it with my label before shrinking. Shrinks up nicely so my round bars don't have funny plastic corners sticking out. Looks very professional.

COMMENTS: I literally just bought 1000 of these because I can use them for so many of my products. ( Bath Bombs, Fairy Dust, CP Soap, Wax Tarts, Lotion Bars etc. The bags are big and versatile for many of the product I carry. It allow me to only purchase 1 main packaging for my products. I use a heat gun on low and they shrink perfectly, for smaller products I just discard the excess.

"Great For Humid Hot States And Sweating Problem"

COMMENTS: I've always used these for my soaps but had the problem of customers not being able to smell the soaps well. I have stared cutting tiny holes in the bags so they can get a little whiff, but I can't make them bigger because I live in a very humid state.

COMMENTS: I found that I can cut these in half and make 2 bands for my loaf soaps cut into 1 inch. Im sure there is a band that would fit better, but I tend to like to have basic sizes on stock that I can manipulate. 6x6 seems to fit almost anything that I need to shrink wrap. Very easy to use with a heat gun and I just hold the end in place instead of using tape, as I dont like the way tape looks on a retail product.

	"Takes a bit to get the hang of it"
COMMENTS: So I bought these shrink wrap bags for my bath bombs and they work perfectly!!! Keep in mind you will need a heat sealing machine and a heat gun. It took me a few tries and after wrecking about 20 I really started getting the hang of it!! You just have to keep the heat gun moving so it doesn't get too hot in one spot and melt. At first I was confused as to why they kept melting and having big holes in them. Well after further inspection I noticed it was the tiny holes put in the shrink wrap to allow the air to escape. So you just have to be careful about that. I love the way my bath bombs look after I shrink wrap them makes my product look very professional!!

"Strong and Multiple Uses"

COMMENTS: I absolutely love these bags. I used them for bath bombs, bath truffles, and sugar scrubs. They work very well for my large bath bombs. I made bath bomb ornaments this year to sell to hang on people's Christmas Trees and these bags held up very well. Someone dropped one from three feet off the ground onto a concrete floor at a craft show, and the bath bomb was dented but the bag held. I will definitely be buying this product again!

COMMENTS: These bags are fantastic easy to seal and then shrink. I was able to use them for many different sizes of soap and quantities after first sealing them, this is why I got a size that was a little bigger than I typically need. "The best all around shrink wraps"

COMMENTS: These bags are prefect all around use, but I use it mostly for my m&p and my large bath bombs. I love how these are easy to use. After placing items in I use my press and sealer the shrink it with a hair dryer and I have NEVER messed up a bag unlike some places I ordered from I did nothing but mess them up. So me there is no others shrink wraps!

COMMENTS: These bags are OK. I sealed them with a simple craft heat gun, not the sturdier one I have. Out of the 50 bags, I'd say a little over half of them developed holes while using the craft heat gun. This was disappointing. If you wish to use a stronger heat gun, I'd get a heavy gauge. Also these bags gave an off-putting smell as they were being sealed and when heat was applied.

COMMENTS: I purchased these bags on a fellow soaper's recomendation, and boy was she correct, these are the way to go !! Especially if you have a variety of different size bars in your line-up. They shrink up beautifully, very minimal learning curve. I bought these to replace another manufacturer's shrink wraps (which are still sitting on my shelf) because the other shrinks were terrible, so I was VERY sceptical; however I am now a convert, and I am very anxious for these to be restocked by WSP, because, I need more.

COMMENTS: These bags are perfect for my tall soaps. I use them for bath bombs too. I have so many more items I can use them for. I love all the shrink bags but these have more room than the 4x6 and I still don't have a lot of waste. Great product!

"Works nice."

COMMENTS: Nice product. I'm just not sure I'm very good at shrinking it. I end up with holes in the shrinkwrap and I'm not sure how to get a nicer seam on it. But I like the product.

"So easy to use !!!"

COMMENTS: I love these shrink wrap bags !!! Like the review/video says...you can cut these to size. I can shrink-wrap 2 - 4.25 oz bars of soap easily with 1 bag (you cut it in half lengthwise - use a half for each bar). I also use these for safety-wrapping the necks and tops of my Lotion and Body Splash bottles when displaying in gift shops, etc. I use my blow-dryer to heat, shrink and seal...again I say, so easy to use !!!

COMMENTS: This shrink wrap works great for my smaller soaps. I'm easily able to bend and fold it so that it fits my molds. The only complaint I have is that it can sometimes be difficult to open after it is sealed.

COMMENTS: I used these on high topped CP soaps. The bags are easy to use and the pinhole helps air to escape when they are shrinking. They are also big enough to fit a soap and a small dish (as pictured for product). It was a little bigger than I expected but in the end, I really enjoyed this size and it made for easy wrapping!

COMMENTS: It has a tiny hole on each side of the bag so that the bag gets nice and tight. Even though I love the hole for my CP soaps, I don't love it as much for my MP soaps. I try to tape over one side of the hole and place the label on the other side.. This way it helps prevent my MP soap from shrinking too much.

"Get Professional!"

COMMENTS: These bags have upgraded my businesses image in the most professional way! Although they took some getting used to, I mean with using a heat gun and all for the first time. But the video instructions were very clear and direct AND I didn't mess up a single bag or bar of soap or bath bomb! And what a relief that was because I was having major problems with the bath bombs as far as getting them to hold the scent! I will definitely be ordering these bags again! And even the larger ones for my smaller baskets. (I'm gonna try those out.
