Product Details

Siesta Sunset Orange Mica Powder is a shimmering carrot orange cosmetic powder that can be used to color a wide variety of cosmetics. The color reminds us of a beautiful orange sunset as we lay in a swinging hammock on a tropical beach.

The pictured lotus blossom is clear melt and pour soap colored at a rate of 1 tsp. per pound of soap. Color will appear pastel and less vibrant in opaque melt and pour soap bases.

"Nice light orange"

COMMENTS: This is very pretty in cp soap. I used about 1 tsp per pound of oils and it turned out light orange, like a sunset color. I might go darker next time but I am happy with the results as it’s a true orange and not yellowish.

COMMENTS: This orange was wonderful to work with in my cold process soap. Behaved well, no acceleration and stayed true to color after saponification and cure time using the recommended amount. Clementine scented soap is a staple for me, so I'm thrilled to have found an orange that compliments this scent and stays orange. I'll definitely be ordering again.

	"Really nice orange color in bath bombs"
COMMENTS: I use this frequently in bath bombs and it is a really nice shimmery orange. However, I do have to use quite a bit of this to get a nice medium toned orange. If you add a small amount to bath bomb mixture, it gives you a beautiful peach color.

"Nice Orange"

COMMENTS: I purchased this orange mica for the orange sapphire F/O. The color is a nice true orange in CP. Next time I will use it in a crisper orange E/O or F/O. Its stays nice and bright in CP soap.

"Light orange that doesn't morph"

COMMENTS: I got this color as a free sample. I used it in CP soap with a slight yellow tinge (about 25% olive oil). I used a tiny amount in about 9 ounces of base. It came out a light orange color - think pale cantaloupe. It didn't morph which was a plus. I think if I had used more I would have gotten a very nice Orange - which I'm going to try tonight. This would be a perfect color for a creamsicle soap.
