Changed our processes!!

"This was a gem of a purchase. We are launching a brick and mortar company that is going to make bar soaps, bath bombs, fizzys, bath salts, body wash, face masks, liquid shampoo and conditioner, bar shampoo and conditioner, shave soap, and beard oil. We were considering different ways to sell our shaving soaps. We had considered buying this mold to try as a shave soap mold, and we saw this kit and had an idea. We bought this kit due to the very low price as a kit. We did NOT expect to like the scent. . . oh boy oh boy. . this scent is AWESOME. We will end up adding it to our line. I expected to not put the flower petals in the soap, kinda worried about the ""ick factor"" of wet botanicals. NOTHING to worry about. They don't feel icky when wet, in fact, you dont even notice the flowers until they come out of the soap. We ended up really liking this product and not expecting that reaction at all."

Not worth the trouble

"Even with following the directions exactly ,the shave cream came out thinner than I like . What a mess it makes . Not worth the trouble and especially the clean up. The properties of the shave cream were fair enough , but I just didn't think it was good enough to justify the kitchen mess it makes."

"I have had customers request I make a more natural Shaving Cream. I had tried several recipes I had found on line without success. So when I saw this kit, I had to try it. I am so glad I did. It gives you a great slick for shaing and leaves your skin baby soft. My customers absolutely love it. . . . I've had to make it more than once."

Can a stick blender be used for whipping this rather than a hand held?: No, a stick blender will not whip.
Hi, just wondering if this can be packaged in a metal tin?ThanksAmy: This product contains water which will cause a metal tin to rust.
Is there something I can add to this to help soften the hair on my husbands face?He said he feels like the razor is just ripping his hair out.And this doesn't happen with store bought.: You might leave out the bentonite clay. Also, try adding Chamomile Extract which can help with skin irritation. You might also add some castor oil which can give the shave cream more glide.
How do I get mine too look as fluffy as your looks in the picture?: Try whipping the product more. If you have a stand mixer, this works well and is much easier on the arms. Also, try adding a little more oil to keep the product soft.
the "what's included in this kit" list says bentonite clay, but the recipe has kaolin clay listed. Which clay do you need for this recipe?: The recipe contains bentonite clay. We have updated the recipe to match the kit. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
