Great Color!

"Some folks just love to know they are using products that are 100% all natural. This product allows me to offer that option with intense coloring as well. This is a bright color, doesn't bleed in your products but it does impart a little bit of a gross smell, so you'll need to use more EO or FO to overcome the natural occurring smell of this color. Otherwise, another great item from WSP!"

Excellent Spirulina!

"This spirulina is great! I use it in HP soap and on top of its beneficial properties it also colors my soap a beautiful green. It is derived from blue-green algae and has a sort of ocean like smell. This can be balanced with essential oils. I love the soap made with this spirulina: the properties, color, and scent. Thank you for carrying this product."

deep green color naturally

"I love colors and designs in my soaps, spirulina powder is a great way to get a deep green color in all-natural products. Care needs to be taken in not using too much because of the ocean/sea scent this product will give to a soap. The scent will fade with the cure, so I have not had a problem with the scent. But I have never tried to make a full bar green nor used it with light or delicate EOs. I have had no issue with browning. I mix the powder with oil and add that too the soap batter at light trace."

excellent golden-yellow color naturally

"Pleased with the golds and yellows this natural colorant produces. I have had little issue with color fade or morphing with six-week cure in CP soap. I mix the powder with oil and add that at light trace."

lovely green color

"I love the green color this makes when it gels in cold process soap. I use it in my melon scented soap."

"so love to use thishave had several different reactions in my soap recipes - all goodthe range of color is wonderfuleasy to use and a great conversation started w/ customerssome love it, some don't care but it helps sell my all natural/organic soapsI can tell a difference when I use my CP or HP soaps containing this - makes a very nice bar for our skin"

Spirulina Powder

"I used Spirulina Powder to color my melt and pour, the color was great, however I could still smell the scent of Spirulina even with the scented oil in it. As time passed I could smell more of Scented oil instead of Spirulina Powder."

Beautiful!

"This gave my lemongrass cp soap a beautiful color. I mixed with a small amount of olive oil first, and added it for a deep green color."

Felicia (5/5)

so pretty, earth smell

"I love the color of this spirulina, it varies from light to dark green in cp soap. The smell is earthy and subtle, but not easily hidden. It compliments a natural/ocean theme soap beautifully. I think the fact it is so good for skin is a great selling point."

"I used in cp soap for coloring , turn out very good"

Q&A

How much spirulina powder can be added to lip balms and still be have smooth feeling balms?
You would need to test this in your lip balm. Spirulina powder does have a fishy odor which can be unpleasant in a lip balm.
Could this be mixed with coconut milk powder and clay for a face mask? and at what percentage would you recommend?
This can absolutely be added to a face mask. You can add as little or as much as you like.
I have heard that spirulina powder can grow in oil scrubs and lotions. Has anyone had this problem and if so what can you use to stop it from growing?
We have never experienced this happening.
I' m trying to find a natural color for bath fizzis or bath bombs. I have a 3 year old grandson with severe allergies to dyes, especially Yellow no 5 and Red no 40. You show a picture of a bath fizzy made with spirulina powder, where can I find the recipe for it?? How much powder would I use? I would love to see some more recipes for more natural products! Is there a way to make bubble bath without sla and sls?
Our natural powders are a good substitute for any of our suggested colorants in our current recipes. Although we do not have a specific recipe to follow you can use any natural colorant at the percentage that you need to reach your desired color.
Can this product be added to sugar or salt scrub to add color or is there a better product that is also natural in a liquid form?
You may add this product to a scrub as a natural colorant. We do not have this available in a liquid form nor do we have any other liquid colorants that are considered all natural.
