Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF into mold. Cool until soap has hardened. Remove soap from mold, and slice into bars. For easier unmolding, place into freezer for 30 minutes, and then immerse bottom of the mold in hot water for a few moments. Do not use cooking spray to coat mold.

Cold Process Soap: Coat the mold with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into mold. After 24 hours, flip mold over onto a clean surface. Gently push the back of the mold until the soap begins to release then pull the soap out of the mold with a gloved hand. Slice into bars. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.

Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF. Allow mixture to solidify. Flip mold over onto clean surface. Gently push back of mold until lotion bar begins to release then pull bar out of mold. Slice into lotion bars.

Wash in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

"Can this be used with powdered ingredients (ie. both bombs, toilet tabs, etc.)?"

"Also, this mold (MW 116 ) lists the soap dimensions as 2.65" square @ 4.25 oz per bar. Mold (MW 54)soaps are 2.5" across a round soap @ 1.5 oz per bar. Are the numbers accurate, because even allowing for the corners, I can't see how a slightly larger bar of soap is almost 3 x the oz. Can you clarify that these specs are correct?"

"I've never used a tray mold. This tray mold holds 38.25 oz. If I have a 32 oz melt and pour base, is there any way this can be accommodated? "

"I am new to the soap making process and starting with M&P - so bare with me if this stupid question. Although this mold looks like 9 separate bars of soap -- the mold looks like it is 1 piece. Once the soap comes out of the mold how does one get it into the 9 bars??"

"Love it"
COMMENTS:  I got this mold about 2 months ago with a kit but never used it until yesterday and I love it. It's a harder plastic than what you would get from the craft store. The soap was super easy to remove and there was nothing left behind in the mold.

"Great Mold"
COMMENTS:  This is a great Mold, I used it for the first time, I have never used a milky way plastic tray mold before and I followed directions by spraying cooking spray in it before pouring my soap and it came out beautiful, I took it out 24 hours after letting my soap set up, and it came right out, I just turned it over, let some air get underneath the bottome by being patient, (you will see the air seperating your soap from the mold) and it just popped right out! I already ordered another kind of milky way tray mold of a different design.
