Hands down, my favorite scent!

"I picked this scent up on a whim while I was at WSP picking up an order. I have quite a few favorites, but this is on the top! It's a sweet, natural rose floral scent - not sticky-sweet or grandma-floral. Lovely scent. A friend picked up a bar of soap scented with this and breathed ""oh. . . this is divine!"" and I certainly agree!"

Very creative blend . . .

"I am very pleasantly surprised with this oil. I love it! I put some on my wrists when it arrived and went out to the store. Passers by loved it and became quick customers. I recommend wearing a fragrance a day! WOW"

Behaves terribly but smells heavenly

"I ordered a small 4oz bottle to test in cp and fell in love with it immediately! Out of bottle it was heavenly! Sweet but in a grownup way with a kind of (good) heaviness to it. . . Hard to explain but I could bathe in it! In cp it's a bit of a nightmare, I read reviews but thought I can reign it in and went with a 2 color hanger swirl. It seized within seconds from adding fragrance but I managed to save it. although still strong, three days later the scent is somewhat fainter. Thi is one of my new favorites. Fingers crossed the scent stays thought cure. I will be buying and using again even with it being very challenging. Wouldn't recommend to a novice soap maker."

Nice Scent

"This is a nice girl version of the guy's shaving scent, though I have had some guys purchase this as well. It is very potent, so you might wish to back off your usual amount. It does work up well with no problems."

Karen (4/5)

Great blend!

"Used this in my bath bars and it smells so wonderful!"

Terri (5/5)

Amazing smell

"Love this for my bath bombs Behaved nicely in CP soap"

Traci (5/5)

Very, very nice.

"Maybe I'm the oddball out, but I can definitely smell the rose. I felt the fragrance held up well even in CP. If your customer base likes the natural scents, this will be very popular for you."

Linda (5/5)

A fragrance that grows on you!

"I smelled this OOB and wasn't super impressed. Going in I knew it would be a powerful one. I first created beard oil with it and the fragrance grew on me. I then plunged into a CP soap and fell in love with the scent! Instead of being powerful as it was OOB it blended in a very subtle way. I would definitely recommend for male consumers!"

Sweet Bay Rose EO FO

"Love this after it has been utilized in the recipe. DO not let the initial smell from the bottle fool you. It is lovely."

Q&A

So for 1000 g of oil in CP soap I would only use 2 grams? This seems really low but wanted to double-check. That means my 2 oz bottle is good for 28 loaves!?
Yes, you are correct. The maximum IFRA usage rate for this fragrance is 0.2%, which is much lower than most fragrances we carry.
Why is it called an EO and Fo blend. The ingredients only say Fragrance.
This oil contains 3.5% of essential oils and resins and the remaining components are natural and synthetic aroma ingredients. It is labeled as 'fragrance' in the INCI listing because the blend is proprietary.
I am confused by the ratio .2% to body cream, because I searched the Q & A, and found out this:"" according to the IFRA Guideline you can use this fragrance in Body Creams, Oils, Lotions of all types (except baby products) at 4.3%. You can use less than that if you prefer just not more. Posted By: Cheryl | Date: September 12, 2014 "Please provide more clarifications, thanks!
The amount of fragrance to use is specific to each fragrance oil. I don't see that Q&A under this product. Is it possible, you are looking at a Q&A from a different fragrance? Also, IFRA recommendations sometimes change based on new research. The date listed is 2014 so it could be different for that reason too.
Got your ratio 0.2% = 0.48 ml for making 240 ml body cream, thanks! But if it was not added correctly according to your ratio, such as 1 ml or more, the whole patch needs to be discarded, or is there anyway to save and correct the final product? Please help!
So you added 1 ml instead of 0.48 ml? You can even it out with more body cream. For example, if you put double the amount of fragrance allowed, then make another batch of cream unscented, then mix the unscented body cream with your over-scented body cream.
What will be the appropriate amount adding to 240 ml body cream and lotion?Or any suggestion for percentage? Thanks!
The IFRA maximum skin exposure levels for Sweet Bay Rose - EO & FO Blend 604 body lotion is 0.2%.The maximum you could use in this case would be .48ml. Hope this helps.
