separation and ricing

"This fragrance smells AMAZING, and I was really excited to use it. However, it caused by cold process batter to immediately rice and separate. I used to slow moving recipe and the batter was fluid and fine at very light trace. The minute I added this fragrance oil, the batter instantaneously got clumpy and separated. I would recommend either using this fragrance oil in hot process soap or if you want to use it in cold process soap, either using it for a single color soap or for layers or maybe for something like a spoon swirl. I would not use this fragrance for delicate swirls or any designs that require a fluid batter. Again though, I think it smells fantastic, so I think its a great scent to use if you can"

"Has a mild tobacco scent that doesn't over power but lets you know it's there. . . will blend well with other fragrances to create different ""tobacco"" scents. This can be blended to be soft and feminine or bit masculine. I've tried it with Honey as well as a Cherry and it works with both; I like it and will purchase again, it's very versatile."

"A lot of people review fragrance oils based on how well they perform in different applications (CP soap vs bath fizzes vs lotions, etc), so I will review the scent itself. :) In the bottle this is a heavy scent; what seems like multiple different tobacco notes (including cherry tobacco) mixed with a very dark bourbon. It dries to be super-smooth and medium-sweet, with the tobacco notes and whiskey/rum mixing together for a gorgeously complex scent overall. It feels very masculine, and would be great on its own, though I did mix it with a few other oils for a custom blend, and it's great in that as well!"

Do you have tobacco by itself? not a blend.How do fragrance oils differ from essential oils? Are fragrance oils pure and natural?How are the extracted?
Fragrance oils are man made synthetic oils. Essentials Oils are extracted from the petals and leaves of the plants they come from. Most fragrance oils are blends of different scents, this is the closest we have to Tobacco.
Can I use this as a regular fragrance oil instead of the tobacco leaf and Amber. Customers don't want the amber portion. Thank you
Yes, this can be used by itself.
Can this be used in candle making?
This fragrance oil can be used in candle making. Since these Fragrance Formulator scents are single notes and are meant to be blended, they may not be as strong as a regular fragrance. We would recommend using this in a small batch to see how it throws. You can use the normal fragrance load used in your particular wax.
DOES THIS FO CONTAIN PARABENS?
Our fragrance oils do not contain any parabens.
