Tree of Life-Large Size

"I have this mold in the small guest soap size and have enjoyed using it so I bought this one because it is a bigger bar. I have used it a couple times already and have sold out of the bars I made in it. I wasn't sure how well people would like a square tree soap bar, but no worries. One woman requested all nine bars for gifts she wanted to give out!"

Didn't look like I expected

"This soap mold made some very pretty soaps but was fairly difficult to get the soap out. I'm new to soap making so is there was an insiders trick to using plastic molds? The mold cracked along the corners while I was trying to get the soap out. I would prefer to use a silicone mold because it is easier to release the soap once it has hardened."

Milky Way are always my faves!

"I can't believe I haven't used this yet! I have too many molds, and too few hours in the day (and possibly also a mold-hoarding problem. . . but we won't speak of that) :) I can write a review about it, however, because I've had the matching guest-size mold for a while and I love it! In typical Milky Way style, the mold design is rustic, almost as though the master was carved out of wood. I love making the little ones as freebies to include in my orders. I'd love to see these in a bar mold. I know that's not nearly as efficient, but it bugs me that with slab molds, the bars aren't of identical size (the ones on the edges are slightly bigger, with outer edges that flare out a bit). That's just my own little idiosyncrasy, though. I still love this mold!"

Excellent!

"I had the smaller bars and wanted this size when I saw it. Glad I did. I enjoy this design."

Cute mold

"The mold itself is fantastic. Getting the soap out of the mold is relatively easy, so long as you put it into the freezer for at least 15 minutes or so. The difficult part? Cutting the soap when it's out of the mold. . . I need to buy a larger soap cutter."

Beautiful detail.

"Works beautifully! I have had no trouble getting these soaps out of the mold."

Soap making

"lovely mold; makes good size bars"

Beautiful Mold

"This makes a beautiful bar of soap, and one 2 lb. package of base will fill it perfectly."

I love my "" Tree of Life"" soap mold.

"I got many compliments on my new designed soaps. People said it is so pretty; I like it. With this being said; this soap mold holds up very well and speaks for itself. I would love to purchase 3 more. Love my new mold."

Q&A

What is the tray capacity? I know it should be 4oz X 9 bars, but I've found that due to flare on the edges, etc, it can vary.
This mold will hold an average of 36-38 oz. of soap.
How do I use this mold for MP soap. This will be my first time making soap.
Andrea, You will melt your soap, add in any colorants, fragrances or additives you desire and then pour the mixture straight into the mold between 129-130°F. You will then spritz the top of your soap with 70-90% Rubbing Alcohol. For tips on easy unmolding Click Here.
