| COMMENTS: I purchased a pound of homemade lemon verbena tea from a local herbalist and was looking for a good FO to go with it in a CP recipe. I found it perfectly in Verbena #348! In my personal experience, the Meyer Lemon is the most prominent note in this FO (which is great because it's sweet & crisp without being overpowering) but I can also detect the other notes of Verbena & Rose very well too, and the blend is absolutely beautiful & intoxicating! Not too light, not too strong, but just right!! It also smells more botanical to me & not synthetic or perfumey, which is precisely what I was going for! Best part of all- it behaved incredibly well in my fast-moving CP recipe (which also consists of Kaolin Clay)! No issues AT ALL... not even a hint of discoloration, acceleration or ricing, which left me with ample time to get creative! Lye & oils were around 108°F when FO was incorporated by hand-wisking at trace, and the finished product came out gorgeous!!! Two thumbs way up for this FO! Was a pleasure to work with & will definitely purchase again! | |||||||

| COMMENTS: I didn't know how much Verbena was loved. I made a batch of butters and sample packets and family and friends are in looooove. My mom told me my dad who doesn't like a lot of scented products told her to put that on his feet after his pedicure. One of my first time customers tried a sample packet and the next week ordered an 8oz jar said she couldn't get enough of it. Even OOB scent is intoxicating with the clean scent with the lemon notes permeating through it. Once I made the butter I kept sniffing my hands. So I decided to make verbena soaps and sprays specially for her. She was amazingly happy. In terms of performace is great. Strong scent. Fresh and lemony. I added some magnolia scent to the spray. Gave it a lovely romantic touch. Crafters choice scents come with a screw cap, hold everything in even for the looong journey they made to get to me. But I make small batchs of soap. This is the ideal citrus-y herbal scent for someone who doesn't want to spend the time or money on essential oils and blending, but wants a fresh scent to add to their collection. The smell reminds me of a blend of lemon, litsea cubeba and a touch of sage. More citrus up front but then it mellows a bit, mmmmm. This will be a staple in my home care line and I can see myself also using it in my hand creams and soaps too! | |||||||

| COMMENTS: We use this in goat's milk CP with great results! We scent at our standard rate (no need to add extra) and this holds up very well. This is a staple scent for us and always sells well! No acceleration. To prevent ricing, mix this FO with liquid oil at a ratio of about 1:4 before adding to your pot/bucket and then blend immediately. Imparts a light yellow to the soap. (If you gel your soap, it will be a little bit darker yellow.) For an even tarter blend try adding Litsea or Lemon essential oils. Love it! | |||||||
