Hello, I used this fragrance in CP soap. I used 1oz of fragrance to 16oz oils and when I added the FO, I pulsed the stick blender maybe 3 times and saw it immediately tightening up. I immediately stopped and before I could even finishscrape down the blender, my soap had hardened!! I'm soaping at about 85°. Thank you!

We are not sure why this happened. There are no reviews of anyone stating this fragrance caused any problems. If you want to try this fragrance again, we recommend warming the fragrance before adding to your batter. Also, once the fragrance is added, stir in with a spoon or spatula. Then give a few quick bursts with the stick blender.

Did you change the formula for this fragrance? I used it for years and never had a problem with discoloration. Now my rainbow soaps discolor and look horrible.

We are surprised you have never experienced discoloration with this fragrance before. It has a 5% vanilla content and will discolor your water based products. We recommend using the vanilla color stabilizer for this fragrance.

With all of the wonderful FO's that contain vanilla... is there a way to stop brown discoloration in BATH BOMBS, BUBBLE BARS and FROSTINGS?? I know to use the vanilla stabilizer in soap but I never hear of people using it in BATH BOMBS, BUBBLE BARS, and FROSTINGS?? How can we avoid the browning and/or spotting? Should we try to cover it with colorants...like BB lakes or mica's? Will that work??Thanks so much!

We recommend using the Vanilla Color Stabilizer for CP soap for the bath fizzies and bubble cakes. We are assuming the frosting you mentioned is for bath fizzies. If using our frosting recipe, we recommend the stabilizer for MP soap. If using another recipe for frosting, it would depend on the ingredients being used.
