Cold Process Soap Test Results:

We test fragrances with the recipe of 50% olive oil, 20% sunflower oil,
15% coconut 76, 10% shea butter, 5% castor. No water discount.

COMMENTS: This is one of the best FO for cakes! Love that you get all the notes you would of a wedding cake, or any vanilla cake for that matter, but isn't too sweet. Good on its own and mixed with other fragrances.

COMMENTS: Love this scent. Smells like a fully fresh cream covered cake. Scent isn't heavy, have to add a little more if you prefer a stronger scent. My friends' initially thought the cut mp soap I have on the table are little pastries and they smelled delicious!

"Yummilicious!"

COMMENTS: Wow, this stuff is amazing. I used it in a test batch of soap, added the vanilla color stabilizer sold here,and have fabulous, incredible little soaps that pass the sniff test and didn't discolor the soap one bit. I took one to a neighbor who's getting married soon; both she and her hubby-to-be went crazy over it. I was worried that the soap smell would come through, but so far it's been just cake, cake, cake! Love it.

COMMENTS: This is the first time I have rated this scent, but not the first time I have ordered it- It's just fabulous, and makes me want to bake a cake every time I smell it. The last time I made a batch of soap and put a description up online of this delicious scent, the soap sold within minutes, and I hadn't even cut into it yet!This scent accounts for my most popular soaps that sell out time after time, and if I should happen to be out of it, which is RARELY because love it so much, people will ask when I'll have more done...even teenage boys have come by my booth at a crafting event and asked for the "awesome cake-smelling one". They don't care how girly it might look! I've mixed it with other scents as well, cinnamon or hot cocoa, and fresh apple pie work well with it, so not only is it terrific on its own, it's also quite versatile!!

COMMENTS: Wedding Cake is an incredibly rich and sweet scent, and yes, wedding cake will immediately come to mind when you take a sniff! I very literally want to eat my soaps made with this. The only down side is that it does discolor, so it must have vanilla in it? I'll have to get a stabilizer for that. Amazing!

COMMENTS: This is a yummy fragrance that was not as sweet as expected which to my surprise I liked! Smelled great in soap albeit faint. I wish this site had a true fragrance calculator for every fragrance so I'd know exactly how many mLs fragrance to ounces of product to use vs giving me a percentage. Would just make it easier when in a hurry. So I may have used less than called for. Remember to use your VCS with this one as it contains quite a bit of vanillin.

"Smells Just Like Cake"

COMMENTS: I received this free with my order. It smells just like cake but I'm not a huge fan of the dessert fragrances. It was easy to work with but did heat up my soap and left a crack on top. I used a wood mold so maybe a silicone mold would have been better to avoid that. Great scent retention.
