Beach Rose & Chamomile - Nice enough, unisex

"Used cold process soap at 6%- well behaved, very mild discoloration to light tan, unisex"

Andrekita (4/5)

Soft and pleasant

"This is a very soft scent, however, it's still strong- which is a good thing. I wouldn't have outright chosen a rose and chamomile scent, but I received this in the New Year, Better Me fragrance set and I'm very happy that I did. The rose and chamomile are discernable. It's not my favorite scent, however I'll base repurchasing on how well my soaps sell."

Fall Fragrance Staple

"I really like this fragrance. Its smells like a lovely fall cologne to me. The final scent in cured cp soap is still strong, and the ""cologne"" side of this fall fragrance comes across a bit stronger IMO after saponification and cure. I made a 20oz test batch 8/29/24. I colored the entire batch with 2 tbsp dispersed titanium dioxide. Then sectioned off 10oz of the batch into 2 separate containers and added 1 tbsp dispersed colorants of gold mica, and the other w/ 1 tbsp dispersed orange mica. I had no ricing or separation, however it did accelerate some. I was still able to complete the design that I wanted. However, I did wait to add the fo until right before I was ready to pour it into the loaf mold. After the final discoloration, the entire soap cured to a khaki color, and exhibits no evidence of the gold and orange mica colorants ever being added. I made a 2nd 50 oz loaf batch with a hanger swirl design and an unscented piped design on the tops. I chose red mica and titanium dioxide for my base colors. I sectioned off equal portions of my base soap batter into 3 containers. One was left uncolored, one had 1 tbsp red dispersed mica, one had 1 tbsp dispersed TD AND was left UNSCENTED. After final discoloration, the hanger swirled design in the base of this soap is khaki(TD unscented portion), muted matte red, and hershey milk chocolate brown(uncolored portion). I love how these turned out! And overall, I love this fragrance, and would like to use it in other products in the near future as well. I'm hopeful these will be well received!"

Q&A

How does this behave in cold process soaps? Also, any discoloration?
There is a 2.2% vanillin content and this will discolor your soap. We have not tested it in CP. Please test and write a review and let us know how it goes!
