Testy but workable

"I'm not a huge fan of straight patchouli, but this one isn't too terrible. I make it because my customers like the scent. If patchouli could smell clean and fresh in a eucalyptus way, this would be it. It's refreshing and airy. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 isn't because of the scent. If you use this fragrance in cold process soap after you reach trace, you may notice ricing and acceleration like I did. That was the first time I used it. I incorporated the fragrance with my oils and clay the second time around. Then, I added my lye and stick blended to trace. I used a slow moving formula the second time, and it made it so much easier to come to trace without any ricing, which was awesome. For reference, my first recipe had hard butters and soaped under 100F. My second recipe didn't use any hard butters and soaped under 100F. I'm not sure if that made a difference, but I hope this helps someone else looking to make soap using this fragrance. The scent lasts and is very present without being overpowering. My standard for soap is 3% unless the fragrance is weak, which this one is not."

Beautiful scent, but you have to work QUICKLY

"LOVE this scent. I didn't have much time to work with this (even soaping below 100) - it accelerated and clumped up quickly. Not soap on a stick, but definitely not a pretty bar. The scent is so beautiful that I'm not giving up! Going to try using it in my lotion and scrubs instead!"

This is a Keeper!! Very high end scent

"OK. . . at first I was very skeptical because out of the bottle its way more citrus. . . so I was like this is no really my thing. but I made a batch of soap and well again, was like meh. . . its ok but just not what I was hoping for. So I let the soap cure for about 4 weeks. . Used a bar and OMG. . . . when you use and apply this scent that tonka and musk REALLY shows up and it is phenomenal!! Very high end scent. I can't wait to try this in lotion!! Soaped like a dream!"

I love it!

"I love this scent. It's soft and warm, gives me a relaxing and calm feeling. I use it in soap and body butters. I absolutely love it and so do my customers! I just ordered a big bottle I hope the scent doesn't change."

Clean Fresh Ahhhhh

"Patchouli is what caught my attention with this fragrance, however, there really isn't that typical patchouli scent, it is more of a simple clean & fresh soapy fragrance. I do like the scent & recommend it if you're looking for a fresh laundry or clean shower type fragrance. . . don't let the Patchouli in the name throw you off if you're not a patchouli person."

Beautiful fragrance but watch for ricing

"lovely in all my products, but be aware of ricing, i soap around 80-90 degrees and it riced. otherwise a great fragrance."

Beautiful soft frangrance

"Love the scent, soft yet prevalent. Not a big fan of patchouli but this one is absolutely beautiful. Made CP soap and it did rice & accelerate big time for me. Soaped at 80 degrees and used a very tried and true fluid recipe as I was planing lots of swirls, and it riced and accelerated very quickly for me. . . barely made it to the mold. Ended up plopping it in and doing a chop stick swirl. I guess this one will be donated. . . not making it to market."

SUBLIME

"If white had a scent, I would think it would come close to White Patchouli. It's perfect on its own, but I blended it with a freesia note and oh my word. Would highly recommend. . . it's not a patchouli like you'd find in a hippy store, it is sultry, soft and sophisticated. I cannot wait to get this into my line."

Sublime

"This is a superb feminine high end perfume scent. Women love it, men love it on women. It is a musky floral with right touch of patchouli, very sexy. Immediately ordered more."

Q&A

Why is the perfume % so high when the lotion % is so low? Generally they're the same, and all other uses are also very low.
IFRA sets the standards that these numbers are based off. Generally, perfumes have higher maximum safe usage levels because it is not for use on underarms and other sensitive areas. Lotions tend to be applied to more areas.
