This Wood Mitre Box is great for cutting a loaf into individual bars. The soap cutter is adjustable so you can choose your desired depth. Beveler/planer included on the bottom of this wood mitre box.
Outer Dimensions: 10.5" x 5" x 3.5"
Inner Box Dimension: 9" x 3.5" x 2.8125" (Length is adjustable!)

Directions:
To Adjust: Loosen the wing nut screws and slide block to desired depth, then tighten to secure the spot. To Use: Place soap loaf into wood mitre box. Push and hold soap loaf against upright wood slide block. Slice soap by using soap cutter and utilizing notches in mitre box. Once sliced, remove sliced soap bar and push remaining loaf against wood side. Repeat until loaf has been cut into desired amount of bars.

COMMENTS: I bought this several years ago and I wish I hadn't. Mine hasn't broken, but I agree with pretty much everything else Stephanie wrote (sorry Stephanie, maybe I could have saved you money and time if I had written this earlier). Even when the soap is lined up properly in the box, I still get uneven slices. The screw things are hard to manage. The description used to say you could use a straight or wavy cutter but a wavy cutter doesn't fit in the slots (which the description now indicates). Soap gets into all the cracks and crevices and is a drag to get out. I can cut my soap just as evenly without this. If your soap is taller than 2.8125", as my 3" rounds are, you have to eyeball it to get the cutter into the slot. Yes, buy something else.

COMMENTS: This cutter arrived, and I could tell it was very cheaply made. I decided I was going to use it anyway. The wooden piece that holds the place of the soap broke on my first loaf, the screw wouldn't keep the planer blade in place, and the screw that held the place for the size of the loaf moved constantly. I strongly recommend you save your money and invest in a much better quality cutter somewhere else. On the positive side, when I called customer service, they were excellent with helping me deal with the faulty product. I was very pleased with their help!
