Argan Hand and Body Lotion Recipe

This lotion quickly absorbs into the skin leaving it silky, soft and smooth. Great lotion for year-round use.

Step 1

To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add Argan Oil, Emulsifying Wax and Stearic Acid. Heat in microwave until waxes have completely melted.

Step 2

Heat water in microwave for two minutes. Add to melted oil/wax and begin to blend. We prefer using a stick blender but a hand mixer will also work.

Step 3

Blend until product starts to thicken.

Step 4

Add Glycerin, Vitamin E, fragrance oil and preservative and stir in by hand, then stick blend to fully incorporate.

Step 5

Fill each bottle to 3.75 oz. by weight. If lotion is too thick to pour, use a piping bag to fill bottles.

Step 6

Let lotion cool completely before applying caps. Lotion will continue to thicken as it cools.

Step 7

Label product accordingly.
