About This Recipe:

Fill your home with the winter scents of crisp apple, frosted pine cone and cedarwood with these wax melts. This recipe is very easy to make and fun to color the finished melts!

Recipe Ingredients:

Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

Equipment From Home:
• (1) Metal Pot
• (1) Stove Top or Hot Plate
• (1) Child's Paintbrush
• (1) Rubbing Alcohol
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Thermometer - Digital

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Add Beeswax and Palm Kernel Flakes to metal pot and heat on stove top until melted. Stir well and allow to cool to 145ºF.
  2. Add Fragrance Oil and stir well.
  3. Pour into mold cavities and allow to cool.
  4. Unmold melts.
  5. Add color to beaker and mix with alcohol to make paste. Paint design.
  6. Label accordingly.
To Use: Place 1-2 wax melts into a wax burner. Can also be used as a room or drawer freshener by placing around the house.
