Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment.
  1. To a metal pan or double boiler, add Beeswax, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Cera Bellina and Cocoa Butter, Melt over low heat on stove top or over water in double boiler until melted.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool. As product begins to thicken, scrape sides with a spatula then whip with a hand mixer to keep lip balm smooth and creamy.  If balm seems gritty, that means the beeswax hardened too quickly. Slowly rewarm product until liquid and rewhip as product thickens.
  3. Add LuxGlide N5, Peppermint Essential Oil, Lanolin and Vitamin E and stir in. Whip lip balm until smooth.
  4. Fill each jar with approximately .30-.35 oz. of lip balm.
  5. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Apply to lips as needed.
