"Can you add essential oils to this base? If yes at what percentage and do you need a preservative? Looks like same ingredients I use today but add vitamin E and essential oils."

COMMENTS: I bought this base because it is exactly what I have used for a a lip balm mix on my own. This made the process a little faster. This is a nice blend with a soft shine and creamy texture. I added some cocoa butter to give it a nice chocolatey scent for my last batch. I think I am going to add a little more beeswax to the next. I like a little more of a harder balm to prevent melting in the car or in my pocket!
