Q&A
- Hi can you add essential oils and carrier oils to this gel?
- Because the aloe vera gel is water-based, you will need to also add Polysorbate 20 if adding oils.
- Can this be used as a base for intimate lubricant?
- We don't recommend using this product in that application due to the potential for irritation. This Aloe Vera Gel contains additives and is for external use only.
- If I add essential oils to this, do I also need to add an emulsifier? If so, what do you suggest? THANK YOU!
- It is recommended to add Polysorbate 20 when adding fragrance oil to a water based base.
- If I add pumpkin purée to this would I need another preservative? And would could I use to thicken this ?
- I do not advise for you to add pumpkin puree to this base.
- Can this be used as a base for hair gel if so what can be added to it to keep the thick texture ?
