A creamy, tropical blend of mashed banana, coconut milk, and a hint sweet star anise. Juicy orange nectar brightens this island fragrance.

"The banana coconut fragrance oil says the usage rate for soap is 10.40%. I didn't use that much, I used 8% in Milton pour soap and 2 hours later my soap is still liquid in the molds? What can I do? And what did I do wrong? When it finally hardens, if it does, will it be safe to use?"

"With this being a Fragrance oil (not a flavor oil) will it have or leave a nasty taste on the lips. (I have had Fragrance oil on my hands and hit my lips before and it did not taste good). Im fairly new to all the soap making and i thought you could only use flavor oils and or essential oils in lip products (is this not the case)?"

Staff Answer Flavor oils do not have a taste. In fact, if you use too much in your formula they can make your lip product taste bitter.

Flavor oils are scented. Since taste is mostly smell, when you add sweetener, it makes your brain think it tastes the flavor it's smelling.

Flavor oils are specifically formulated to trick our minds into thinking we are tasting the flavor, when in fact we are just smelling them. Our sense of smell has a big impact on our sense of taste!

"Banana Laffy Taffy"

COMMENTS: This smells exactly like banana laffy taffy. It's not my personal favorite. I blended this with a strawberry fragrance I have and it overpowered the strawberry BIG time. All I smell is this fragrance oil. I'm hoping it mellows out a bit after cure so the strawberry can pop through. Used in cp soap using the heat transfer method and it worked great. I just want a fragrance that smells like a true banana.

"What an amazing scent!"

COMMENTS: Upon opening the bottle I knew that this scent was a winner! I used it for making CP soap and it behaved beautifully and left my soap batter fluid for working swirls into it. It is on the drying rack now and smells heavenly! I also used some of this fragrance to make lotions and bath bombs! They quickly became a great seller! If you haven't tried this fragrance oil, you need to! A very clean and lasting scent! Love it!!!

COMMENTS: I am obsessed with this fragrance! It does smell more like Banana than coconut but I prefer that. I made a conditioner for my friend and she said it “smells like coconut oil” I don’t know if it does or doesn’t but I know she uses pure coconut oil in her hair as a treatment so I believe her! COMMENTS: I'm not really sure how I feel about this F/O yet. It turned out okay for fun bath fizzies, but am not sure if I want to use it for regular soaps, gels or lotions yet. I am making a batch of children's soaps using this scent - and I think they'll like it just fine because of it's sweetness. Maybe once it's through the soap process and curing, it will smell differently. I'm hoping so. It doesn't seem to be a big hit in my neck of the woods so far;however, it's still early days yet . . .

"Softer, more mellow banana"

COMMENTS: I used this FO in a batch of CP the other day and was pleased that it was a mellow, tempered banana, not that sickly sweet candy type banana that seems to pervade in other FOs. I'd describe it as softer and smoother by contrast but the banana component could be just a little stronger. No ricing or significant acceleration to speak of with my recipe.

This fragrance smells so good if you like bananas or coconut this fragrance is a must, it makes me want to actually eat a banana every time I smell it, I used it to make bath bombs, lotion and body scrub for myself and a cousin of mine. My cousin applied some of lotion while at work and everyone wanted some so I told her to take orders, she took $180 dollars in orders for lotions and shower gels in a 2 hour period. I recommend this fragrance to anyone who makes bath and body products for retail.
