Nice

"Nice scent to use in combination with others. Fills in the scent profile without being overpowering"

Very upscale

"I made a layered soap with this oil and had no problems. It has a very soothing scent to it. Men love it but so do women."

Scent Sticks in CP

"This is a really great masculine scent. It remained strong in my soap after a 6 week cure. I did not test this FO with any colorants or design, so I can't attest to how well it behaves for design purposes. It cured out to a nice light tan color and behaved well. It did heat up a bit."

Alexis (5/5)

Hubby's favorite scent

"I've tried fragrance oils that are less expensive but this is definitely our favorite. My husband loves this scent. It lasts through saponification and we've had bars for 3 months and the scent is still going strong! I ended up making my husband a roller ball with this scent end jojoba oil and a lotion bar in this scent as well. It's his favorite. It is very pricey though!"

Stephanie (5/5)

Pleasantly surprised

"I was expecting a masculine scent that I could use in a beard oil but it smells so amazing! I have decided to use it in a number of applications actions."

Ebony (5/5)

Unique and Musky

"I was really excited about buying this scent and I was not disappointed when it arrived. It's earthy, musky, and manly! Every man I've shown it to loves it. Used it in cp soap and it did discolor to a dark cream/tan color but I liked it. It's by far a favorite among men and women!"

Zoe (5/5)

Lovely

"I can't wait to get some testers poured. Out of the bottle it is mysterious, green, and sultry. A boutique perfume smell."

Sadie (5/5)

I just love it!

"I just made gel candles they smell amazing. I haven't tried in soy cause of the high flash point its amazing in gel candles. I will be ordering more to make a fragrance oil with this fragrance. Well worth the money."

CP review

"Just did a batch of CP soap using this FO. Worked well, and a great smell. Expensive, but nice in soap. l. li will buy more! No A, and not much D. . . . light brown D only."

Q&A

When I click on the IFRA, I get a second copy of the allergens page. Can I get the IFRA from somewhere? I need to know max usage for Bar Soap, reed diffusers, pet spray, and room spray.Thank you.
The IFRA document has been updated.
If I allow the lye water to cool to under 90 degrees before incorporating into my oils, would that allow the scent to stick without losing the scent? Thank you.
Some people do believe that soaping below the flash point of a fragrance can help to anchor a fragrance in soap. Here is a great article that offers some other tips to help anchor fragrances in cold process soap: https://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/handmade101/learn-to-make-articles/Simple-Secrets-Anchoring-Fragrances-In-CP-Soap.aspx
On the natural fragrance oils, you mention that they may not stick in CP soap. What is their performance issues in HP soap? Does it hold the scent better in that process, specifically, for making HP shave soap? Do they hold up in other products such as aftershave splash, colognes, perfumes, salts, etc.?
You may have the same problem with naturals in hot process soap. The heat can destroy the fragrance molecules because they can be more fragile than synthetics. I would definitely try it in a small batch, we have had great scent retention with most of our naturals.
