I believe this is a flavor oil

"It smells like its a flavor oil and its thick like a flavor oil. It is approved for lip product usage so I think that might be a better use for it as its not a candle or perfumy smelling oil."

Sensual Bourbon maple

"I love the Natural oils! I do not Love the price; however, this is an awesome blend that holds well in Cold-Processed, sugar soap, bath soaks & whipped body butter. The blend of bourbon, soft sweet maple and woody nuances work wonderfully together. The scent even attracts the ladies for their own use! I (female) mixed a tiny amount with an ounce of grapeseed oil and use often. I get so many complements from both men and women. I made several products with a blend of EO's, and it holds quite well! I finally made cold-processed with just this oil, it's been over 6 weeks and still holding great! I cannot stress enough to consider a 1-ounce sample pack of these natural oils. It is so risky making a batch of soap and you find out that the scent does not hold well or misbehaves. Everyone has a different base oil/butter recipes and what works well in one may not in another. Great Natural oil! Coastal S. C."

Q&A

With the exposure levels, are the recommendations for the percentage of oil in cold process soap, or the percentage of the final product?
According to the IFRA Documnet on the website this frgarnce is skin safe up to 12.99%. However, we recommend a maximum level of 6% when making cold process soap.
Which of the notes is most predominant, Caramel, coconut, or vanilla?Could this make a “vanilla icing” type smell when used in small amounts?
I would say the caramel is the most prominent note, but you can smell all three. If going for a straight vanilla icing, I don't think this would be a good match. It could be a very good vanilla caramel icing.
