If you wanted to use this recipe for a dry skin mask instead of a oily skin mask can you switch the amounts for the two clays, using more kaolin clay than bentonite clay?: Yes, you will need to test this, of course.

My question is what dose the glycerin do in this recipe? Can I substitute that and the olive oil for fractionated coconut oil and babassu oil?: Glycerine draws moisture to the skin's surface to help with a smooth, soft feel and appearance. You can substitute the oils, but you will need to test this.
Does this take a while to thicken up? Mine is literally like water. I saw another post asking same thing. I did use dry coffee grounds. Any other suggestions besides adding more grounds and/or clay?: It may need to sit in the fridge to set, but adding clay or more dry grounds is also helpful.
