Refreshing scent

"This was my first time making a body wash- recipe was easy. However, it said to use a 16 ounce microwavable container- but you have 31. 5 ounces of gel so start with a 4 cup and you can avoid having to transfer to a larger container. I used half the recommended color and it came out a light glass green with the pearly white which I like. I also used a little less of the fragrance, and might even go less next time. A little goes a long way. The wash is silky smooth and refreshing. The recipe says split into 2 bottles, but you actually get 4 bottles from this."

Super easy!

"This is such a GREAT body wash to make! Super easy for beginners like myself! Makes 4 - 8 ounce bottles but even with getting about 30oz of the shower gel into the bowl I used, I still ended giving the bottles more than 8oz. The cucumber mint smell is great. I also made this with vanilla lavender fragrance oil. A little does go a long way when using the fragrance oil, but yo ucan easily adjust for the scent depending on if you like it super fragrant or less fragrant."

Q&A

Would this body wash need a water soluble preservative in it, if its being used as a body wash, or does one of the ingredient's sub as a preservative? My customers love this and I wanted to make sure it doesn't mold on them. Thank You: Glad to hear it! The base contains sufficient preservative for this specific recipe.
Is this thick texture?: This is not too thick, but its not very runny. We would say it is about in the middle when it comes to washes.
