????? True Lavender, Soft and Calming

"This scent is beautifully balanced and smells very close to real lavender fields in bloom. Soft, floral, and soothing without being sharp or medicinal. Performs well and holds nicely in finished products."

Faded

"Nice out of bottle. Used in cold process soap at 1 ounce per pound of oils and soaped at low temps (100 degrees) and added kaolin clay at 1 tablespoon per pound of oils and it's at the end of cure and I can barely smell the fragrance. Probably use the rest of the bottle for bath bombs"

Very Nice Vanilla

"Good vanilla scent that isn't too ""sweet. "" Blends nicely with other fragrances. Cures with nice depth. As with all vanillas, there is some discoloration."

Laura (5/5)

A touch goes well with everything!

"I think another reviewer commented on this -- I don't think this vanilla stands up well as a scent all on its own. It works best as a blend (but then so do most fragrance oils!) What makes this vanilla special is that it blends well with nearly everything! A half part of this fragrance mixes extremely well with orange and lavender essential oil. Just a touch went very well in a cranberry/orange blend. And I used it to great effect with a blend of chocolate fragrance oils for my soap cupcakes. So far it has turned my white cold process soap ""frosting"" a light cream/tan and the pink is morphing into an interesting dusty rose even though I used vanilla stabilizer AND added white pigment so just account for some discoloration even if you use the stabilizer with this oil."

Yummy Home Fragrance

"rich and buttery in my opinion and made fabulous room spray with matching soy candles. lovely warming and cozy hot through. . . . a keeper. Haven't tried in bath products yet, but most likely will during the holidays. :)"

Q&A

What % of Vanilla Color Stabilizer do I use to prevent discoloration in my CP soap?
Directions for using Vanilla Color Stabilizer: if your fragrance is under 10% vanilla content, mix 2 parts fragrance with 1 part stabilizer. If the fragrance is 10% and up, mix equal parts of both. Since this fragrance has 17% vanilla, you would mix these 1:1.
will the vanilla content % change the color of my sugar scrubs?
Hi Kheierah - It is likely this fragrance will cause your sugar scrub to discolor since it has a high amount of vanilla. How quickly it discolors and how much it does really depends on the formula. If you don't want it to discolor, you can use a vanilla color stabilizer, Click Here to view VCS.
does vanilla only discolor white soap? or any color soap? like if I make a light blue soap, will in also turn the same brown as if I hadn't added any color?
Vanilla will discolor any type of soap and any color. It will all darken over time and if it has a high percentage of vanilla, will turn dark brown.
