Seized terribly! Major acceleration

"Used it for cold process soap. It was supposed to go into snowflake molds. It seized and had major acceleration! I very quickly dumped it into soap molds. It was the worst I had ever experienced."

Should make a great candle scent for giving a room a woody, spicy smell in wintertime, but I only make soap. You candlemakers should give it a try."

Wonderful

"This smells just like a fresh cut stack of wood ready to be thrown in the fireplace. When my husband smelled the bottle, he said it smelled a little like cigarette ashes to him (I didn't notice it), but once he smelled the soap he loved it. He keeps going back and smelling it again lol! No ricing, no acceleration, and I used dark colors so I didn't notice any discoloration."

Q&A

Does the eo/resin portion of this come from cedar? (I understand if you can't give me an answer, just curious for allergy reasons) Thanks!
According to the SDS, the EO portion is from cedar.
Can this oil be used to make a fragranced candle?
This fragrance can be used in candle wax. You would need to follow the manufacturer's recommendation for fragrance load for your particular wax. As with any new fragrance, testing is recommended to be sure the fragrance is compatible with the wax.
Can this be used in a warmer straight out of the bottle?
When using any fragrance in a warmer, we recommend adding a few drops of water mixed along with the fragrance oil.
