Product Details

Fragrance Oil Blotter Sticks are long professional grade blotter strips that are used to smell fragrance oils, essential oils, your own fragrance blends and perfumes. These are essential tools for soapmakers and cosmetic crafters!

Fragrance Oil Blotter Sticks are made from compressed paper and are the best tool for evaluating or showcasing fragrances. Blotter sticks provide a more accurate representation of the fragrance versus smelling the fragrance out of the bottle. To use, simply dip a blotter stick into the fragrance and smell the stick. Allow the fragrance to dry on the stick and smell again. You may be surprised that the fragrance may smell differently from the first dip to the dried fragrance.

Directions:

Dip blotter stick into fragrance. Sniff blotter to smell predominantly tops notes. Allow fragrance to dry on stick. Sniff again for the rounded fragrance including top notes, mid notes and base notes.

COMMENTS: I like these to "test" a fragrance. I will dip the strip in the fragrance and let it sit for a couple of days and see how the fragrance still smells. I have had fragrance oil that I did not like right out of the bottle but after the test it is good.

"Great for custom fragrances."

COMMENTS: I originally bought these in case i needed them during fairs so people can smell a fragrance but ive recently started using them for blending custom fragrances. I dip it into one fragrance and then dip into the second and it gives me a good idea on how the two fragrances with work together. They hold up well and Id recommend them to others.
