A classic, rich and creamy vanilla with subtle hints of pure white sugar and musk.

Cold Process Soap Test Results:

We test fragrances with the recipe of 50% olive oil, 20% sunflower oil,
15% coconut 76, 10% shea butter, 5% castor. No water discount.

"I am new to your company, and am looking for a French vanilla E.O that I can use in soy candles. With the high flashpoint, would the French vanilla (639) be not advised? Could you recommend one that would be safe if not this one? Thank you!"

"Careful - MAJOR acceleration"

COMMENTS: The description says no acceleration, but the two separate times I have used this fragrance oil, I have had MAJOR acceleration, nearly seizing. The smell is nice (a sweet vanilla), and I love the dark, dark brown color that the soap cures to! Soap with cool oils and work quickly, and you can probably get along with this FO.

"Very Vanilla! "

COMMENTS: This oil smells amazing and the scent doesn’t fade like some of the Vanilla Fragrance oils I’ve used in the past. But it did discolor my soap like Vanilla Extract would. I’ve since ordered more titanium dioxide to correct the color issue and can’t wait to make another batch with this oil! It is best for HP unless you add at very thin trace in CP because it does seize.

"Smells Like Buttercream Frosting!"

COMMENTS: If you're looking for a true vanilla scent, this isn't it but I do absolutely love this FO. It smells just like vanilla buttercream frosting with a very sweet and slightly buttery scent. Our customers agree with us that it smells just like frosting and we have been getting good feedback on this scent. It also paired very beautifully with lavender EO for our custom blended Lavender & Vanilla scent.

COMMENTS: This smells just like French Vanilla ice cream. This scent is my best selling body cream. It's awesome in bath bombs. It's nice in CP soap, too. It discolors, of course, but otherwise it behaved well. I always soap at a discount so I often have acceleration, but it wasn't anything crazy (and what doesn't accelerate at 1:1?). The first few days after cutting, it does smell kind of funky in CP soap. It went sort of play-doh-y on me. Luckily within a week, it had gone back to sweet, delicious French Vanilla. Smelled just like opening a tub of ice cream. Perfection.

COMMENTS: I decided to add Soy Candles to my product and wanted to keep costs down in this economy. I do NOT like most fragrances, but this French Vanilla scent is really incredible! COMMENTS: OMG! Can I just lick the bottle? It smells like vanilla ice cream or buttercream frosting for sure. The best way I can describe this FO is no butterscotch, no super-sweet, no heavy bakery smell. I would say it is on the sweeter side as far as vanillas go, but it is nicely balanced and just downright delicious. Would be perfect in both body products and candles.

COMMENTS: I have yet to soap this, but out of the bottle it's a creamy, bakery type vanilla with a hint of a nutty background. At first whiff it appears fairly strong and will hopefully be great to use alone in soap, lotion or smelly jellies.
