This fo is stunning in cp, and super easy to use! Didn't speed up for me at all, and I had plenty of time to create some intricate swirls! One note of caution though- it is super strong! A little goes a long way and it does not fade! Use sparingly! I used .70 ppo and it was heavy! I'd go .5 if not less next time!

"Smells like Roses but good for use in CP Soap"

COMMENTS: I had a beautiful soap batter. Harvested my flowers and infused them. Batter was blending nicely, I was at a light trace and then added this fragrance. Instant soap on a stick. The smell is lovely and may be good for other products; maybe diffusing or making bath bombs or soaks but definitely not for Cold Process soap.

We experienced moderate acceleration, but it sounds like yours was severe in your specific recipe - we like to be able to share this info via reviews, so thank you! You might try Rose Garden Fragrance Oil 211 for a rose FO with exceptional behavior in CP soap.

"Fresh, lovely"

COMMENTS: The smell is absolutely wonderful, but it seizes badly. I tried two slow moving recipes, and both times it hardened while I was in the middle of pouring after barely mixing it in. This is best for melt and pour or other body products.

"SIMPLY FANTASTIC"

COMMENTS: If you are a fan of rose fragrance, you will love this fragrance oil. I made an amazing-smelling soap with this FO, plus rosemary EO & Sandalwood. I know. Sounds like an unlikely combination, but it's really a wonderful manly smell and would do well for a unisex smell, or for women like me who love the outdoors.

"Great for Potpourri "

COMMENTS: When I ordered this fragrance, I thought that the EO in the blend would be enough to mask that "funeral hone" rose smell that I was trying to avoid. I typically use Rose Essential Oil my some Bath Bombs, Bath Salts, Sugar Cubes, Soap Jellies and other items when customers want a "Rose" smell. The essential oil has light and wonderful notes that are not over powering or harsh on the nose. This Fragrance oil hit my nose hard and smelled like I was attending a funeral. I will make good use of it in potpourri or something that I can give away, but I will not buy it again.

"Great Scent, Accelerates TERRIBLY"

COMMENTS: I love the smell, it really does smell just like a rose from our garden. In Hot process it works wonderfully, but in Cold Process it accelerates trace so badly you can't do anything but pour it immediately. I ruined a batch because when I was going to do a drop swirl the first pitcher of soap solidified before I finished hand mixing the second pitcher. I had to scoop it out with my hands and cram it into the mold. I have no idea what this is going to look like and I will probably have to rebatch the entire thing. If you use this, you cannot swirl, pour IMMEDIATELY after mixing into your soap.

"Wonderful realistic rose fragrance oil"

COMMENTS: Just like others have mentioned, this fragrance will move quickly on you when making CP soap, but if you prepare for it and plan your design accordingly, you should be fine. My water discount wasn't as steep, I did more hand stirring than stick blending, and I worked in layers. My design plan was to have multiple layers, and since I needed each layer to set up before adding the next, i used the acceleration to my advantage! The soap come out beautiful with a very realistic rose scent (down to the green notes from the leaves and stems). Also, since I have worked with this fragrance before, I also know that the sent retention will be wonderful! It really sticks well in the soap.

"Lovely, but Don’t Use for CP Soap"

COMMENTS: I love this fragrance, it has accelerated on me before, but recently, my 5 pound batch of soap seized into a solid hot mass within about 5 seconds after adding it! ?? I soaped at 75 degrees. The lye solution and oils were the same temperature. I was able to dig it out of the container, and put it into my crockpot with additional coconut milk. After working at it with the crockpot set on high, it loosened up enough for me to slam it into the mold, and that saved the batch. Save yourselves from a VERY stressful soaping session, and just HP with it.

"Strong, lovely scent but accelerated IMMEDIATELY "

COMMENTS: I had my plans all laid out for this cold process soap (isn't that how all stories start out lol) I got the perfect color I wanted etc. Inject the Fragrance and BAM soap on a spatula! I VERY quickly shoved it in my mold and hoped for the best. It was very chunky on top. I cried. I really did. I decided to hand cut this the next day as I didn't want to snap a wire... And it appeared pretty good considering.I was lucky. I gave this a mediocre score just because of the fast acceleration, but the smell is strong and Devine. True greenery and rose garden smell. Just work FAST!

"Good scent, but SEIZED in CP soap!"

COMMENTS: I really like this scent. There is definitely a "green/fresh" note to this fragrance that kind of reminds me of green apple, but also really smells like a flower stem. The scent itself is fairly strong in CP soap after being recently made, so I'm not sure if it will mellow out at all. I do want to make sure I say that this fragrance seized up pretty badly! I soap fairly cool at around 90-100°F, so I know it wasn't due to overheating. I mixed my soap up to thin trace, separated it out and mixed my colorants in (mica-based), and hand-stirred in my fragrance. It became soap on a stick within probably 20-30 seconds of mixing the fragrance in and the bucket I was mixing in got pretty warm. I hurried and plopped it into the crockpot to hot process it a little bit until it was smooth enough to glop it into the mold, which took maybe 30 minutes. When I cut the soap 2 days later, there were little fragrance oil spots on the surface of each bar, but they re-absorbed in the span of 24 hours. I deducted 1 star from my review simply because you are a little limited on designs you can make when a fragrance siezes. It smells great, but I also feel like ease-of-use is also an important aspect to a fragrance!

"Fresh Cut Roses yum!"

COMMENTS: I typically don’t review but I read a lot about this oil seizing and just wanted to say that if you add the oil at the end (while making cold process soap) and work fast blending it in and getting it into the molds it should turn out fine! At least it did for me. Yes it does accelerate FAST but not so bad that I couldn’t work with it. I also added half neroli fragrance oil for a neroli rose scent and it smells really amazing. To me this oil smells exactly like the title, fresh cut roses yum!!!!!

"Nightmare"

COMMENTS: I do not like this scent. My husband says it smells like dead roses. Horrible in cold process. Soap seized almost immediately. Tried to stick blend it out. Tried adding also and stickblending with more liquid but still ended up with a lumpy blob that looked like spam.

"Holy Seizures!"

COMMENTS: Used for cold process soap. Smells awesome, just like fresh roses. I poured the FO into my mixed oils and lye water and did 4 quick bursts with my stick blender then it froze! "Not as great as Victorian Rose, but so-so. "

COMMENTS: I was not a big fan of this FO but I must admit that they were true to their word. It DOES smell like Fresh cut roses, stems and all. They named it correctly, but it wasn't my favorite Rose FO. If you want a more true Rose scent I would go with "Victorian Rose". This might be a good choice for someone who likes a more organic or earthy scent. I used it in melt and pour soap.

	"Fresh Cut Roses FO Cold Process Soap"
COMMENTS: I love this fo, smells just like fresh roses. I am happy to report that I had great results soaping with this fo. I seen the mixed reviews using this fo in cold process soap and I was thinking that if I soaped with no additives, it just might be ok. So, I did 32% Rice Bran Oil, 32% Coconut Oil 76, 32% Palm Oil and 4% Castor Oil and 2 oz of the fo and added Alkanet Root infused oil - one TBS for color. Soaped at 100F. There was no acceleration, ricing, it worked beautifully. I am hoping this may redeem this beautiful fo for anyone who loves the smell of fresh roses in their cp soaps. Thanks WSP for your great products.

"Not Good For Cold Process Soap"

COMMENTS: I used this fragrance oil twice. I made one batch of cold process soap. As soon as I added the fragrance,BAM! Quickly seized up on me. I couldn't believe how quickly it happened. "Yep, believe what you read."

COMMENTS: The smell of this fragrance is wonderful! It really does smell like you are out in the rose garden which is why I was so excited to make some some using it. I used a 1:9:1 water to lye ratio, 1 color and .5 fragrance to oil ratio. All was well until all the fragrance was added. I don't think I've ever had a soap accelerate THAT quickly. I wasn't able to pour it out of the bowl into the mold and ended up 'pressing' it into the mold the best I could. It also riced so I have pink soap with white speckles. I bet this fragrance is good in bath bombs or in lotions, but I would really urge you to not use it in cold process soap.

COMMENTS: I've never smelled a rose fragrance so true to its name. I could smell everything from the slight smell of soil to the petal and all. On top of that, it's extremely potent. "Worth the extra precautions"

COMMENTS: This scent is true to the fresh cut roses smell. I love it! I read the other reviews about it seizing in cold process soap, so I used it in hot process instead. No issues whatsoever in the hot process. If you are determined to use this in CP soap, do a small batch in case it doesn't turn out. Soap with your lye and oils at room temperature and do everything before adding the fragrance. Hand stir it in and pour FAST! No guarantees, and that is why I used hot process. I think it is totally worth the extra work for such a beautiful scent. Good luck!

"Fresh Cut Roses"

COMMENTS: This fragrance is the best smelling Rose fragrance I have purchased. I used it in my M&P loaf of rose colored soap. The entire house smelled of fresh cut roses. It's not over - bearing in any way. Just perfect. Will definitely order again when needed!

"Surprisingly Fresh"

COMMENTS: I'm not huge on florals, but I loved this one! Definitely rose but with a fresh green smell that made me think of a flower garden and a just mowed lawn. If you aren't usually into heavy florals, give it a try. A great spring fragrance.

"Beautiful scent no seizing in CP "

COMMENTS: I read the reviews and tried this FO in CP Soap. I used pomace,coconut,sweet almond oils and shea butter. I soaped low at 100 degrees & no water discount. There was a slight acceleration (but I was ready for any problems). I would recommend soaping with this scent at low temps but not a lot of elaborate swirling. I used 0.5 oz per pound of batter with good results. Very happy with scent retention and it worked well in my soap. No discoloration so far 2 days in. Happy soaping!

COMMENTS: This rose fragrance is worth the money...not only do I use in my M & P soap creations, but is a must along with Lavender EO in my personal bath water. The rose scent continues to fragrance my bathroom long after my tub is drained. This will continue be a staple in my fragrance inventory. "Great product-REALLY STRONG FRAGRANCE"

COMMENTS: This fragrance is absolutely wonderful! It smells exactly like fresh roses, and even my husband recognized it right away. I combined this with the tropical coconut fragrance oil for my Valentines collection. My one critique isn't so much a critique as a warning. It is a VERY strong fragrance. Just opening the bottle made my entire house smell of roses. I had to cut my oil in half in order to not overpower the scent in my CP soap. The smell did not alter as the soap cured. I used a quarter of what I normally use in my bath fizzy recipe, and about a third for my perfume recipe.

COMMENTS: I don't generally like florals; especially rose scents...they're fairly obnoxious most of the time. However, this is divine...it doesn't smell perfumey like most rose FO's...it reminds me more of rosewater, and my customers love it.
