"Wish I had read the reviews! My mom had used once hot processing and it was just fine, I didn't think anything about it when I got it for myself and used in a cold process. My first ever seize had me at a complete loss for words. It heated up to 180F and eventually came out of it and I was able to slap it in a mold and void all of my fun plans for styling."
"This is such an amazing leather scent! Whenever I make soap with this, the whole batch is gone within a few weeks. Men can't get enough of it. BEWARE: This seizes almost instantly in CP soap, so you'll want to hot process this or rebatch and melt the fragrance in at the very end."
"This really does smell just like leather. Strong scent. I personally smell just a tiny hint of mint too. I bought this to mix with desert ghost flower. I haven't mixed them together yet but I think it's going to smell wonderful. The packing of my oils was perfect, no spills or broken bottles."
"I am looking for new male scents to add to my soap line, and one of my customers asked for a ""leather"" scent. When I found this I loved the scent out of the bottle. However, as soon as I added it to my soap it separated, hardened and turned to a mushy mess! I tried another batch just to make sure it was the fragrance oil. I mixed everything up except the fragrance, planning to add it last to assess, and the soap looked great. As soon as I added the fragrance oil it did the same thing. I will never buy this again!"
"I purchased this because when I told my friend that I started making my own colognes, he suggested making one that smells like leather. I searched different websites until I came here and made a small sample with it to see what everyone else around me thought about it and gauged this review based on their response. (This is because my allergies handicap my sense of smell on occasion and needed someone to tell me how it smells). Overall, I received positive remarks and plan to keep this product in mind the next time I need it. I used the website's suggested drops and put 30 drops less than what was recommended and the shirt I used it on still smelled like it when I did laundry days later. Because this product turned out awesome, I'm definitely going to be making my own colognes and perfumes from now on rather than buying them off of the shelves. It's so much better!"

"A wonderfully leather manly scent! This one is sure to make a leather lover happy! It took a while to grow on me. It will accelerate trace so be prepared to pour quickly. It was almost to the point of seizing. No ricing or discoloration. This scent is perfect in soy wax, nice throw both hot and cold! This will make a nice addition to my candle line."

"DO NOT USE IN COLD PROCESS SOAP!!! It will solidify almost instantly. I have a batch downstairs that I had to glop into the mold and now it is oozing oil. I'm very unhappy. I will say the smell is on point, though. It truly does smell like leather. It's great oob. I don't know yet if it will stick or if my soap will even be salvageable. It sure is ugly right now. I'm really disappointed in this FO. It would have been a great addition to my line."
