Directions

This powder disperses best in water and water based products. For dry products, add desired amount of color to dry ingredients. Incorporate color to formula slowly, using amount as desired. Adding this color to a white base will produce a beautiful pastel color. Adding this color to a clear base will produce a darker true color. Using too much color may cause staining. Test your final product to insure optimal performance and no staining. Protect work areas and clothing when mixing.

A question was asked if the red lake bleeds in M&P or CP and the answer is "This would not be ideal for use in Cold Process." However, the approved uses for the product list MP & CP. Is this ok for use in CP and does it bleed in either MP or CP?: This product can be used in both MP and CP soap. It is oil-dispersible and usually pre-mixed with oils to prevent clumps. It has exhibited low migration in MP, but the high pH of CP soap may cause color changes. It will color a lighter pastel shade in white soap bases.
