Directions

Measure your base and add up to 30% fragrance directly—no modifier required. For specific perfume strengths, use these fragrance ratios: Parfum 20–30%, Eau de Parfum 15–20%, Eau de Toilette 5–15%, Eau de Cologne 2–4%, and Eau Fraîche 1–3%. Allow the blend to macerate for 1–3 days (commercial perfumes typically macerate for 30 days). This base may also be used at 5% in vegetable-oil perfumes to add a cooling effect and aid evaporation. Always check IFRA usage rates for your chosen fragrance.

There are two conflicting answers in the question section here regarding whether or not to cover the container so I left it uncovered for a few days and found that some had evaporated. The smell of alcohol was still a little too strong when I covered it but that disappeared eventually."

Is this base safe to use with DPG?: This base does not need DPG or an additional modifier; it already contains DEP and only needs fragrance.

I have made four batches of 2 oz bottles of perfume.
