Details

Cut soap base into small pieces, and melt in the microwave at 30-second intervals (or use a double boiler), stirring until fully liquefied. Once melted, add cosmetic color, fragrance, and other skin-safe additives—this base can hold up to 5% total additives—then pour the mixture into a Crafter’s Choice mold and spritz the surface with rubbing alcohol to reduce bubbles. Allow the soap to cool completely before unmolding, then wrap it in airtight plastic wrap to preserve freshness. Melted soap is hot and should be used with caution; recommended for ages 15 and older.

This soap is a rare gem!

"This is by FAR my most favourite melt & pour soap base. The smell of it is faint, but sweet and very refreshing on its own. It was my all time customer favourite when I made these soaps with strawberry FO which compliments the soap beautifully. I would make the top half with goats milk base with exotic FO and poppyseeds. I stopped selling soap awhile ago, but I came back to it, because I love it just that much and I bought a bulk order. The shipping cost to ship to Canada was very hefty but I understand that heavier items do come at a cost. It is seemingly no longer available in Canada but I managed to find it WSP! The shipping was speedy, the product arrived in great condition, and I am ultimately very happy."

Fragrance in this does not smell like Ale Beer?

"This Premium Honey Ale Beer MP Soap Base with its current Fragrance does not smell anything like an Ale Beer but instead, smells more like a Cinnamon type Christmas Scented Soap much like Cinnamon & Cranberry or even possibly Spiced Chai. I am not even 100% sure that I actually really received the Premium Honey Ale Beer MP Soap that I ordered which is labeled to be Premium Honey Ale Beer MP Soap Base? This due to the fact that is does not smell one bit like Honey Ale Beer."

Glad I Tried IT

"I usually get the regular honey mp and saw this as well. I like how it look a little richer in color. So I gave it a try. I really like the soap. Again love the deeper color and it didn't smell like beer. In my opinon it has a sweet smell to it. Great lather. Think I'm going to replace my honey with this one. If your up for trying something new go for it"

"I used this soap base to make some masculine scented soap bars. I used a 'bow ties and bourbon' fragrance oil, and when I tell you it is perfect, I mean it is PERFECT. Clarity. Fragrance. Lather. It's amazing. I strongly recommend this base. The base smells great even without added fragrance oils!"

How do I figure out what percentages to use for my CNF?: You can find this information on the SDS underneath the SDS & Documents tab on the product page.
Do you ever plan on offering a detergent free option?: At this time, there are no plans to add a detergent free option but we can pass your request on to our soap manufacturer.
What is the PH of this soap? Thanks!: The pH is listed on the SDS sheets for the soap bases. The average pH is 8-10.
