"Rose hip powder"
COMMENTS: Like the added color and vitamin properties this gives to my products. A bit more brown than burgundy.
COMMENTS: Rose hips are a wonderful form of plant based estrogen. This has made them invaluable in my product line for menopausal women. The powder does have a minor earthy scent to it so consider this when using in combination with other scented ingredients.
COMMENTS: I add some rose hip powder to my CP soap and it gave a beautiful natural rose hip color. Also help me removesome dead skin but if you don't like scratchy feeling then just make infusion oil.

"good product"
COMMENTS: I used this product with room temp method soap making and added a rosehip swirl on top of a white goats milk soap. I used water to mix at first but another time mixed the rosehip powder with a little oil before adding at trace and it mixed well. It has a brownish grainy appearance and could be red, reddish brown or just brown depending how much is added. The scent is pleasant and many benefits for mature skin and for healing which are good selling features.

"CC Rose Hip Powder"
COMMENTS: I was finally able to invest a little into natural herb colorants for my bath products and this was one of them. I will be adding it to my rose bath fizzies/salts today and can't wait to see the results. If it's anything like the other powders I have already tried from WSP, I know I will be please with not only its health benefits, but its ease of use and performance. And since only a little is needed, the 2oz bag is going to go a long way - as always.

"fun to play around with this"
COMMENTS: I read that it give CP soap a nice peach or yellow color, and yes it sure does. It's beautiful when mixed with the lye and water. I did a batching using it at a trace just stirred it and it's gorgeous. I love that I can get these deeper warmer colors with no artificial coloring. I super love to use it when I use a recipe including Rosehip oil, I also have Rosehip pieces to stir in for exfoliation!

"one of my faves"
COMMENTS: Absolutely love the color this brought out in my hand-milled soap. I used it in an Apple honey soap as well as in a vanilla, rose and sandlewood. Then finished products are gorgeous. I Do tend to have more soda ash appear on the soaps while curing but I am not completely sure if the issue is related. Also I would not recommend mixing the product with oils before adding as it does have a tendancy to clump. Otherwise the soap still lathers well, my skin feels great and I am even seeing scars and stretchmarks fading. Thank you for offering a unique and awesome additive.

"Great Exfoliant"
COMMENTS: I don't know what I was thinking - Somehow I added three packages to my shopping cart instead of one, so ended up with an over-abundance of Rose Hip Powder. Now worries now, however, because I've discovered that the powder adds a beautiful color to the soap. It also is a bit grainy, so it is gently exfoliating. If I only want the color and not the grit, I steep the rose hip powder in boiling water and strain it using a coffee filter. I let it cool and use it as my lye water for my soap.

"Beautiful red color"
COMMENTS: I got this as I prefer to use natural colorants in my soaps. Getting a true red going this route can be kind of challenging due to color morphing or they aren't as vibrant. Not so with this one. I thought it wouldn't perform well as the color in the bag is a tan brown color. So knowing rose hips are great for skin I incorporated it in with my facial bar that has Moraccan red clay in it and boy did I get a surprise! Upon first looking at the loaf after it had set overnight I could see these brilliant red specks in the soap that stood out from the red clay. That brilliant color came from the Rosehip powder. Going to start using this one more! Very happy with this product!

COMMENTS: I used this in cold process soap as a colorent. I didn't use a whole lot so it came out as a speckled brown/red color kind of looks like a cinnamon color bar so works well with the essential oil i added . no more red dyes for me i will keep ordering the powder so that i can use it as a color. great product wonderful price.

"Great Herb"
COMMENTS: I love this Rosehip powder, it added a great color to whatever you it to. I added it to a white soap base and my soap came out light brown. I also used it in a sugar scrub, it looks good enough to eat. I had to package it and store it before my kids came home for fear that they might mistake it for cookies, it was that good.
COMMENTS: Rose Hip powder is not only healing to the skin, it adds a gorgeous deep color to my hot process soaps. Very pleased and will purchase again and again!

"Rose Hip Powder"
COMMENTS: I love using natural products to color my soap. This has the bonus of skin loving benefits so I will be using it a lot this fall. The color is great for the season. It will clump if you add it directly to the soap, so it's a good idea to add a little glycerin or oil to it first.

"Great Natural Colorant"
COMMENTS: Love the skin benefits this adds to my soap. End color depends on the amount added. At 2% produced a deep kidney red color, at 1/2% produced a creamy color slightly lighter than the powder. Coloring with powder is an art worthwhile learning when your customers insist on all natural. Make sure you have no clumps, add to a small amount of base to create a smooth paste, then add to the balance of the base. Finished color will vary according to the FO used, best to due small batches until you get the desired effect. Even my mistakes while learning to color with herbals have turned out interesting as speckled soap looks nice too.
