"I use these shave brushes as a set with my shave bars. My husband also uses one to shave with. They are boar bristle so they are very sturdy which helps work up a lather. The brushes shed slightly as it is supposed to with no excess. These are the best brushes for such a great price. You don't want to go too cheap on shave brushes but the quality on these exceed the price."

Don't waste your money.

"The bristles are too thick which makes them too stiff, so they have a lot of action. That means it is prone to making large bubbles, even with a high stearic content and very small brush movements. The plastic handle is much lighter than the brushes, so it is top heavy and prone to falling over if you try to display the brush as it is pictured. The bristles are not well glued in place, so brush hairs tend to fall out with every use. I bought 6 brushes and every single one has returned with a customer complaint. I will never buy these brushes again."

what is the suggested retail value for one brush?: We would price these around $9.00.
Are the boar bristles cruelty-free, ie, are they sourced from the routine clipping of domesticated boars, or are they harvested from dead animals?: The bristles are cruelty-free.
Will you be adding any additional color option for the shave brush?? My customers loved that they had the option to coordinate with shaving mug/bowl that I sold within my shaving kits.
