So Cute!

"This kit turned out so well. If I'd had one more bag it would have made 19. Super easy to make and it smells great. My suggestion would be to not spread it all the way to the edge of the pan. It gets really hard and it's difficult to break up close to the edge. Other than that just follow the instructions."

Easy to make

"Loved the scents. Kit doesn't show but makes two colors lime and purple. Purple would mix better if it was a liquid colorant. Also, next time will use less purple so you can see the duck better."

Q&A

What is the recipe to make one container of slime?
This recipe has not been tested as a single container. Use the Volume to Percentage Calculator and then the Batch Calculator for a single jar.
I made two separate batches of this slime after reading everyone's questions. Both batches have separated and the bottom is clear. I added the poly80 like suggested and added a little bit extra of the gum powder to thicken. What is making it separate? Clearly this product looks horrible and it was expensive to make. LAUREN 6/13

I made this ... I can't figure out what happened. It looked okay however this morning it looks like half of it has dissolved in the container. I can't figure out if I mixed it to much or what happened. Anyone else ever had this happen?
We are not sure what is meant by dissolved. If the product seemed to shrink in the jar, the lid may not have been placed tightly on the jar which allowed air to dehydrate the product.
Can I substitute clear shower gel for this? I want to make some with the kids while we are home, but I only have the clear in my stock right now.
Yes, you can use a regular shower gel or bubble bath in the recipe. Actually, any type of liquid soap will work.
Thank you! I did add the polysorbate 80in this recipe tho. Am I going to be able to sell it still? or should I take them out of the container and remix everything?
Have you made this product before without the Poly 80? If you did, did the color fade? Our original recipe does not include the poly and we did not have an issue with the color fading away. You probably don't want to remix everything because you risk the chance of possibly introducing bacteria. You might try shaking the jar to see if the color will blend back into the shower gel. We are just not sure why this is happening.
