"I had used this to make lotion bars in dial up tubes. I had used the amount that was called for in the recipe and the lotion bar was firm and pulled a little on the skin. I will be decreasing the amount by 5% to see if I can achieve a different result. I'm looking to get more of a silkier glide on the skin without having the lotion melt in the tube on warmer days. I also noticed my lotion bars seem a little tacky when applied to the skin but it does go away after a short period of time."
Just What I Needed For Lotion Bars
"I have been making lotion bars which are a combo fibromyalgia and cellulite mix of essential oils. They have worked great, but I have had some issues with getting the mixture just right so that the bars are smooth, creamy, and go on nicely. The bars were still great, but I wanted them just a touch more creamy. I tried this additive for the first time yesterday and am THRILLED with the results. It is the perfect way to round out the recipe. At last, my bars are perfect. I will be buying this regularly from now on. I simply substitute a little bit of this for beeswax in the recipe and I am good to go!"

- would this product work to thicken oils to make a thicker body oil Shimmer (so the micas 0r Gitter's can suspend)?
- This is best used for lotion bars and solid perfumes.
- I noticed that there is a vegan beeswax alternative. I was wondering if I use the vegan substitute instead of this in my lip products, will it work in the same way to help prevent the shea butter from becoming grainy? Any advice is appreciated.
- This may help you achieve similar results, but we cannot say for certain as it is not something we have tested. The vegan beeswax alternative more closely mimics regular beeswax.
- what is the melting point of this please? and what is the highest temperature that it can tolerate before burning or loosing its properties ? thanks !!
