Lavender Lotion Bar Recipe

Weigh lotion bar additive and coconut 76 oil and place in wax melter or double boiler. Heat until lotion bar additive is completely melted.

To pan, add shorea (sal) butter, meadowfoam seed oil and jojoba oil. Mix well. If mixture should start to cool or thicken, place back on heat source to warm.

Add 0.16 oz. Lavender Essential Oil and 0.04 oz. of Vitamin E. Gently blend.

Pour into silicone mold and let cool. Save remaining liquid and pour into last two cavities after first batch of lotion bars have been unmolded.

Once hardened, place in tins and label accordingly.

Variations: Pour lotion into 2.25 oz. white lotion tubes (will make 3 tubes). Or, will make approx. 7 of the 1 oz. clear push up sticks.
