Alcohol Smell

"Even following the exact recipe given on the website for this product to make perfumes, is still only smelled like alcohol. I wasted so many bottles of high quality expensive fragrance oil trying to figure out what was going on and still haven't. I sent an email to customer service and was told that the product works best when left open to aerate for 30 days or something along those lines but even doing that didn't work. Very saddened because I was hopeful and excited to work this perfume base more."

What is the measurement of the opening? I am trying to determine if my labels will fit on the solid portion of the box.: the window on the box measures 2-1/8" W x 1" H
