Q&A

How much of this mica should I use per pound of oils? Do you not have a suggested usage rate per pound of oils for CP soap? If you do, I can't find it anywhere.
You can start at two teaspoons per pound of soap and adjust from there.
To achieve this color, is it used in clear or white soap base?
You would need to use a clear soap base to get this silver shade.
How do I mix this to add to body washes, body sprays, foaming hand soap?
This mica powder can simply be mixed into the product. For these products, though, unless you are using a suspension base, the mica will settle to the bottom.
I don't see a usage rate for CP soap anywhere on here or on the container I received?
The amount depends on the shade you want to achieve in your soap. We recommend mixing your mica with a small amount of oils. Mix well. Then mix with a small amount of batter or into your entire batch and blend.
Is this color ok for making bath bombs without staining the tub or skin? Thanks!
When using micas in bath bombs, we recommend using Polysorbate 80 which will help keep the colors from staining the bath tub.
