Product Details

Best soap cutter on the market! When used with the Crafter's Choice Mitre Box, it cuts straight each time. Ruler along the bottom that is ideal for free hand cutting.

Measurements: 5.9375" x 4.75" (handle is 6.5" wide)

Directions:

Hold cutter by the black handle, and carefully but forcefully press into soap to cut to the desired size. Use to cut cubes of melt and pour soap to speed up the melting process. To carefully cut straight bars of soap, use a mitre box. Place soap in box and place cutter in the designated slot. Press down until the soap is completely cut.

"It really is the best!"

COMMENTS: I have used other cutters, and paid more, but the CC straight soap cutter is far and away the best. It cuts through 24 lb blocks much easier than the other types of cutters I have used. It makes chopping up my bases for my soap making go faster and more efficiently. I won't be buying any others in the future. Highly recommend.

" No dulling!"

COMMENTS: This cutter is very sharp. I purchased this cutter 2 years ago, and have cut numerous soap loaves without any blade dulling. The ruler at the bottom of blade comes in handy also. Sometimes when I make a tall soap with my Tall& Skinny mold it damages my top so I have to turn my loaf sideways to cut. Other than that it's perfect.

COMMENTS: This tool is a necessary for cutting the loaf soap in the miter box. I also use the blade to easily slide under and lift soap bars when they are a little softer. Using the flat surface with a softer product prevents dents and pressure divets in the soap. I also use the blade to clean the counter surface during clean-up, scrapes cooled waxes off the counter and scattered powders & butter bits.

COMMENTS: These soap cutters are the best on the market. The markers are great. Never had an issue with bowing of the cutter and have used one for several years. Going to buy another now since there are so many helpers in our business now. We also have the wavy cutters which we recommend. COMMENTS: I really prefer the wavy edge tool for cutting M&P soap base into smaller pieces before melting but this tool is useful when a clean straight edge is needed. I just wish it was a little wider (maybe another inch) so it was easier to slice a whole soap cake without having an edge get in the way. I imagine this will last a lifetime.

COMMENTS: We couldn't get by without this soap cutter. It is a must-have when cutting chunks of soap or taking down 24 lb blocks. I do think it could be a little more sturdy though; in less than a month there is already a little bending of the blade.

COMMENTS: Bought this item to use along with mitre box and it works well. However, something to keep in mind is that if you have soaps with really tall toppings, embeds, etc. on the top of a soap loaf, this cutter is only a certain height, and it's handle may interfere with the design of the soap tops.

It's the right size for bars of soap with decorated tops, cuts cleanly, and relatively straight without a guide (requires some eyeballing from the user.) "A Must Have"

COMMENTS: I bought this on a whim and was skeptical that it would be much better than a knife. I am really glad that I was wrong. This is fantastic! My hand doesn't hurt when I have a lot to cut, it has a really comfortable grip, and it slides through soap like it is room temp butter! I can't imagine working with soap now without it. The icing on the cake is that this is a much safer cutter, so my teen helper gets to cut soap now, which helps me, and means a lot to her because she can do more. This is definitely a must have!
