Shopping list calls for 2.5 g bag MATTE BROWN OXIDE PIGMENT POWDER but the recipe says .6 oz of it. A 2.5g bag supposed to weigh .088 oz so is the recipe supposed to say .06 oz instead or is it .6 and a 2 oz Jar is needed instead? TIA for clarifying it and hope you don't mind these question types where it's like knit picking almost.: We are sorry for the confusion. The correct amount is 1/8 tsp of Matte Brown Pigment Powder.
What is the shelf life for this particular scrub kit or most scrub kits and whipped soaps: This scrub is best used within one year. If products are properly preserved, they should last at least one year, or longer.
If I use a different scent where the vanillin content is diff how would I adjust the vanilla stabilizer for this recipe?: This fragrance uses the maximum amount of stabilizer. If the fragrance being used is under 10%, you would mix the fragrance and stabilizer 2:1 - 1 oz. fragrance with .50 oz. stabilizer.
